Self-titled debut album by Hungarian progressive folk group Kolinda. Kolinda was active from mid seventies through around 2000 except for a period of about five years in the early eighties when they temporarily disbanded. The band relocated to France for much of the seventies and much of their early music was produced by Hughes de Courson, former guitarist of French folk group Malicorne. Beautiful Hungarian ethnic music with medieval revival flavors, great vocal interplays mixing male and female and tricky time signatures.
Agnes Zsigmondi - vocals, flute. Férenc Kis - vocals, fiddle, Hungarian oboe. Peter Dabasi - vocals, tambura, guitar, cymbals. Ivan Lantos - vocals, fouble bass, Hungarian oboe, gardon, bagpipe.
