00:00All right, Lions will be hosting the Tennessee Titans spread sitting at 10 and a half total

00:07sitting at 45 and a half, but some news come in for the Lions being Jameson Williams being

00:13on a two game suspension.

00:14Is that what I saw there?

00:15Tom, talk to us about this.

00:16Yes.

00:17Yeah, this game, this news came down in the middle of the games where according to Adam

00:22Schefter, Jameson Williams is going to be suspended for two games for the performance

00:27enhancing substances.

00:29I don't think he's going to be appealing this.

00:33He's been off to a good start this year.

00:35I'm not going to say great, but I think in the short term, this is a role that will be

00:40filled by Tim Patrick specifically or Khalif Raymond.

00:44I think it's going to be Tim Patrick though for the Lions.

00:47Like I always talk about Jameson Williams being this downfield threat and when it comes

00:51to a lot of offenses that are successful, what do I say?

00:55There's a player like Amon Ross St. Brown who moves the chains.

00:58You have a running back coming out of the backfield who can catch it like Jameer Gibbs.

01:01You have a tight end getting up the seam and then you have a big play threat with Jameson

01:05Williams.

01:06The Lions have checked off every single box of something that you would want for an offense

01:10that is very well-rounded.

01:11They have a good run with Montgomery.

01:12So now this role, this big play threat with Jameson Williams is missing.

01:16Tim Patrick is going to fill that role.

01:18Now are there, and again, it's not like he's out for the season, it's going to be two games.

01:22So we kind of have to like jump on this early, capture the value that Tim Patrick brings

01:27over these two games, and then we may never get it again.

01:29So I'm just like being really, really optimistic about Tim Patrick and hopefully nailing some

01:35props, some long props, because it's not like his yards are going to be up at 50.

01:39It's probably going to be in the mid-20s and he can get this done in two catches.

01:42So I'm just optimistic.

01:43Well, it's a good look ahead and something that I do appreciate, and if you guys have

01:47missed Profile Ball today, the pregame show, this is a reason to watch.

01:50Tom, you're really good at noting either secondary players or players that will end

01:53up getting in the mix of certain games, depending on who their opponent is.

01:56So it's something worth watching, especially when you're looking at great betting angles

02:00and trying to gauge the statistics.

02:02Now just to add to what you said there, they are taking on the Titans next, which we know

02:04are kind of a dumpster fire team.

02:06So they'll be okay without Williams.

02:08Next will be the Packers.

02:09After them, though, a little bit of a tougher opponent, but still game plan wise, you can

02:13still strategize without him.

02:14Williams has contributed 17 receptions for 361 receiving yards thus far and three touchdowns.

02:21So taking all those numbers into mind, as well as that secondary guy or those roles

02:24that will now open up in his absence.

02:27Definitely good that you mentioned a guy that you have faith in and that you feel optimistic

02:31about.

02:32Kind of also looking at this matchup, I know there's not too much to say on terms of like

02:37Tennessee, but what would you, where would you navigate maybe like Jared Goff here?

02:41Because they don't have to come in too hot.

02:43They don't have to come in, you know, blazing performance wise when it comes to their defense.

02:47So maybe this is an option also in terms of maybe not going as run heavy as normal

02:51or what do you think we'll see out of Jared Goff?

02:54You know, ultimately Goff could have like a really modest game.

02:57Like if they're 10 and a half point favorites, like he doesn't need to throw for 300 yards.

03:02They should be controlling things.

03:03You know, David Montgomery did leave the game over the weekend versus the Vikings briefly.

03:09Like he was helped off to the sideline by trainers.

03:12He did come back in.

03:13So as the week develops and we get the injury reports, like I just want to make sure David

03:18Montgomery will be there for a full workload because if he's not, it's going to be a big

03:21Jameer Gibbs game and the 10 and a half point favorites.

03:24So like if Goff needs to throw for 300 yards, like something went wrong for the Lions in

03:28their game plan, because they should be controlling this from start to finish, clean game.

03:34They're the Titans are terrible.

03:36Doesn't matter if it's Mason Rudolph, doesn't matter if it's Will Levis.

03:38I think this will be a really easy game for the Lions after a huge emotional win two weeks

03:43ago against Dallas, this revenge game, and then a huge divisional game.

03:48I think this game is as straightforward as it possibly can be for the Lions.
