00:00I don't know, George. I mean, maybe it's just the nostalgia in me. I know in these leagues

00:10they have uncuttable players and he doesn't qualify as that anymore in fantasy. I am not

00:16cutting Mahomes, man. Like, I don't know. I understand who he is and you'll probably

00:21make the cut, the case that you can. Six touchdowns, six picks. I mean, if you're playing in a

00:26league where you lose two points for a passing touchdown, this guy has been worthless as

00:31far as playing in fantasy, which is crazy to say. But second half of the season, it's

00:37the Chiefs. I can't do it. I can't do it. I'm holding them. I can't do it. I'm holding

00:41Mahomes.

00:42This will depend on what kind of league you play in. Mahomes is not a quarterback one

00:47anymore. Hasn't been, by the way, since about halfway through last season. That's what the

00:51numbers tell you. All right. Once again, I'm assuming you're in a 10 or 12 team league.

00:55If you're in a 14, 16, it's a little different here. If you're in a two quarterback league,

00:58you're certainly holding on to him. All right. So let's get that out of the way as well.

01:01The good news is, well, I play Sam Fran, but Sam Fran's not the greatest defense that we

01:06think they are. They're just not. Vegas, Tampa, Denver, Buffalo, Carolina. I mean, the schedule

01:12is nice, but he hasn't been putting up the fantasy points here. So if you're in a league,

01:18one quarterback league where no one takes a backup quarterback, then guess what? He's

01:21releasable. Easily. It's not even close, because all of that means Kirk Cuddens is

01:25out there. Several other quarterbacks that are putting up good numbers here. Hell, Gino

01:29Smith's putting up better fantasy numbers than Pat Mahomes is. And it's not even all

01:32that close. So yeah, he's cardinal. But if you're in a league where everyone or you're

01:38in a 12 team league with six to eight backup quarterbacks have gone, well, then you can't.

01:41He's not there. But I do play in a league where, like I said, Cuddens is there. Carr

01:45was there when he was hot. It's just no one takes a backup. So you move on from Mahomes

01:49because you're dealing with a name here. Yes, a possible future Hall of Famer, but

01:55he's not fantasy-wise that right now, this season. And I want to win now. I'm not playing

02:02to the name here. I'm just not. So the numbers tell you he's not a quarterback one in 10

02:06or 12 teams.

02:07I can't believe this. I'm keeping Mahomes. I can't do it. I can't do it. All right. This

02:14is a good one here. Justin Fields. Now, again, we don't have a ton of clarity here, and we're

02:20making the assumption he's not starting on Sunday. But these numbers that we're showing

02:25you here don't obviously tell the entire story because he's rushed for touchdowns and he

02:28has a lot of rushing yards to 12 team league.

02:34I think if you were forced to, I think you can with the idea of I'm looking at my budget

02:40or my waiver wire position. And if Wilson bleeps the bed, I can pick fields right back

02:45up. But any deeper league than that, I'm a hold also on fields. Again, he does things

02:51that only five or six quarterbacks are doing in the NFL. And even when he's only throwing

02:56George for 170 yards, that's being accompanied by a rushing touchdown or like 65 yards rushing.

03:02I am not cutting him. I cannot do it.

03:04Yeah. You and I both believe that Pitcher's making a mistake going back to Russell Wilson.

03:09I don't get it. As for fantasy owners or rosters, it's tough because once again, if

03:16you're in a one quarterback league, you can probably afford to hold on to him, right?

03:20And just pick up another quarterback.

03:21Assuming you don't have one already on your roster. I would advise that not to be Russell

03:25Wilson, by the way. And it's two quarterback league that's different. I did have to pick

03:28up Russell Wilson, which Fields was replaced. But if you're in a league, once again, where

03:35all backups are gone here, you can be screwed. You can definitely be screwed here. My bottom

03:42line is this. I don't think we've seen the last of Justin Fields. I don't. All right.

03:46I don't think Russell was going to hit the ground running here. I think he's had a rough

03:48time Sunday night against the Jets. You know, that being said, I don't know if Tom is going

03:53to be willing to pull the trigger after one week and they play with Giants next week.

03:57They're on Monday night again. Damn. See a lot of the Steelers. Then there's a bye week.

04:02So you may not have any Fields now, Craig. It's a week 10. So that's a long ways to wait

04:08for a quarterback that we don't know is going to have a starting job. You know, or is going

04:12to get it back. So that's my only issue here. I think you may be forced due to things beyond

04:16your control. You and I both believe Fields should be in the quarterback, but Tom one

04:20doesn't agree with us. And that's, he's really the only opinion that matters here.
