00:16in that division, a guy who likes to run his mouth.

00:19So he definitely thinks he's the best.

00:20He has that, you know, King of violence belt.

00:22You want to take that from him.

00:23We've been waiting for a while.

00:25You've been waiting for a while, probably even longer than us.

00:28What are the chances?

00:30Do you think Connor's desire for it now with him being part of the ownership, uh, can push

00:33that or, you know, with their, uh, straight relationship, given what happened after his

00:37boxing match, do you think it's just not gonna, you know, it's going to cause even more problems

00:41What are you seeing from behind the scenes here trying to get this Perry fight that you've

00:44been looking for for a long time?

00:46You know, at the end of the day, it was always going to happen eventually.

00:49I feel like the promotion was just trying to build my name a little bit, but definitely

00:53with Connor, you know, speaking on my behalf for me asking him personally, him telling

00:57me, yes, he's going to push for, and somebody with, with the, you know, with the name that

01:02he has is going to make that happen.

01:04And I can't wait.

01:05And going back to something, I don't give a, I don't care about that belt of King of

01:09violence crap.

01:10I'm the world champ.

01:11I got the real belt.

01:12He needs to come see me for that.

01:14If he doesn't want to, cause he was in the comments, said something about he wanted an

01:1785.

01:20It doesn't matter to me, but he can keep that little lame ass belt.

01:26I know we've been calling for it on sports good for a long time.

01:29You know, it's been, it seems like it's been made to happen and just hasn't happened for

01:33Obviously he has, uh, wherever he is in mind wise of what he wants to fight, who he wants

01:37to fight, but there is no denying that you are the best in that division right now.

01:40So if he wants that title, he's got to come through you for it.

01:43Uh, obviously, as we said, it's been a trouble getting that going, even though you've wanted

01:48it, even though you've called for it.

01:49And as you mentioned earlier in the interview, there's plenty of guys, other guys who have

01:52opened their mouth saying they want your chance at your title, but maybe aren't ready

01:56for that.

01:57A guy like I know Donald Sanchez, number three in the rankings only has a couple of fights.

02:00He's been very vocal about wanting you.

02:02If you can't have the Perry fight, uh, you know, you mentioned former UFC guys or other

02:06big names.

02:07Is there anybody else you have in mind to try to make happen?

02:09Or is it just, you're completely focused on Perry and until you know that happens or they

02:14come to you with something else, that's all you're focused on.

02:17You know, it's not that I'm completely focused on him and he's just the only one that's in

02:21the organization that makes sense outside of him.

02:26I'm down to fight whoever, whenever, whatever the promotion says they, they want, I'll give

02:31it to him.

02:32Uh, somebody like Donald Sanchez, I think it's an easy check for me, but it does nothing

02:36to build my name.

02:37But if the promotion wants me to go in there and starts real quick, sign, sign, send me

02:41the contract.

02:45Um, you know, it's, it's just something that I feel that I really deserve is, is all the,

02:51all the hype behind Mike and I just want to show people that he's, he's, he's just, he
