00:34 gonna get the whole family together

00:35 up at the sister's house.

00:37 The whole family's gonna be hanging out

00:38 for Mamac's birthday.

00:39 So that's why I will not be here,

00:40 but I'll be watching Saturday night.

00:42 This is a stacked card.

00:43 I mean, the card's so stacked that the Black Beast,

00:45 Derrick Lewis is on the undercard

00:47 and not even the main prelim.

00:48 He's like the second to last prelim.

00:50 That's how big this fight card is.

00:52 And it's in Salt Lake City.

00:53 You know, this isn't in Vegas.

00:54 This isn't in New York.

00:55 This is one of those cards that you think is one of the,

00:57 you know, the ones they put together

00:58 for these mega cities that they love.

00:59 Boston, it's in Salt Lake City, Utah this weekend.

01:04 They get a great card.

01:04 It is stacked.

01:05 You have the title fight at the top.

01:07 This fake title that we have, the BMF title.

01:09 But you know, either way, title or not,

01:10 this is an awesome fight between these two lightweights,

01:12 two of the top guys in that division,

01:14 in Poirier and Gachi.

01:16 Gachi's learned to fight a lot smarter now

01:18 as he's gotten older.

01:19 He's not just going and standing in the middle

01:21 of the octagon just swinging

01:22 and trying to take your head off or his.

01:23 So, you know, he's been a much better fighter.

01:25 And if it was just about anybody else in the division,

01:27 I might roll with him.

01:28 But it's against Diamond, Dustin Poirier.

01:30 Not picking him there.

01:31 The Diamond just, he's more well-rounded.

01:33 He has that ground game.

01:35 He just knows how to pick guys apart.

01:36 He can beat you so many different ways.

01:38 I'm taking Poirier to win it minus 150.

01:40 You want a better way to win it?

01:41 Want better odds?

01:42 Well, I'm gonna say it does not go all the way.

01:44 Five rounds between these two,

01:45 I cannot see getting to the final bell.

01:48 I'm taking Poirier by KO, TKO,

01:49 or submission, the double play, at plus 125.

01:53 And then, you know, they say he's not going

01:55 the distance of the book, minus 250.

01:57 But they do think it gets over the two and a half

01:59 at minus 135.

02:01 So, I'm taking Poirier to finish it one way or another.

02:05 This one, Jan Blahovic welcoming Alex Pereira,

02:10 after he lost that bout to Adesanya.

02:12 He moves up in weight class.

02:14 People talking about, oh, look how much weight

02:15 he put on in between weighing in and fighting.

02:17 He'll be great in this division.

02:19 Everybody puts on weight.

02:20 Everybody puts on 20, 30 pounds.

02:21 You don't think Jan Blahovic weighing in at 205

02:24 is gonna weigh 230 fight night?

02:26 So, I mean, this is a fight, you know,

02:28 the fight is close in the odds.

02:29 Minus 110 each way on BetMGM.

02:32 I just don't see how it goes any different

02:34 than when we saw Adesanya come up and fight Blahovic.

02:36 I think Blahovic, even though he's talking about

02:38 using his kickboxing against this guy,

02:39 is too smart to stand there and try to trade

02:41 with a guy who can knock you out.

02:43 I think he's gonna take him down, smother him,

02:44 and just ride it out for three rounds,

02:46 and get the victory that way.

02:48 You know, you can get him minus 110,

02:50 so you don't even have to really get better odds

02:51 in the way.

02:52 If you do want it a better way,

02:53 I think it goes the distance, plus 200.

02:55 Blahovic does have some great submissions,

02:56 we've seen that before,

02:58 but I think he plays it safe in his older age here,

02:59 doesn't let this guy get back up,

03:01 and just goes for the distance.

03:03 You can get him at plus 350 by decision if you want.

03:05 Steven Thompson, Wonderboy against Michel Pereira

03:09 coming in here in this fight.

03:11 Pereira's got a nice five fight win streak,

03:13 but he's going against Wonderboy Thompson,

03:15 who even though he's almost 40 years old,

03:17 we're still calling him Wonderboy,

03:18 and has, you know, had a career resurgence

03:21 over the last couple years.

03:22 He lost a couple fights to guys like Chamiya

03:23 and to Gilbert Burns and some of these other

03:25 upper echelon guys in that division.

03:27 Pereira, the guys that he's beaten

03:28 are not in that upper echelon.

03:30 You know, one of the biggest names he beat is Nico Price,

03:32 who just lost to Ruthless Robbie Lawler

03:34 on his way out the door.

03:35 So I'm taking Steven Wonderboy Thompson minus 150,

03:38 and I like him by decision,

03:39 'cause both these guys go to deep decisions.

03:42 So plus 125, I'm taking him to win that way.

03:44 The book thinks it's going that way too,

03:45 minus 175 for it to go to decision.
