00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s economic team has eased bottlenecks obstructing foreign

00:06investments in offshore wind projects.

00:09This as the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, or DNR, and the Department

00:14of Energy, or DOE, have signed a memorandum of agreement to allow the use of offshore

00:19and auxiliary areas covered by offshore wind energy service contracts.

00:24Meanwhile, Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs, Secretary

00:30Frédéric Gault, highlighted the agreement will promote the government's efforts to

00:34position the country as a top destination for foreign investors.
