00:00In Binondo, Manila, the top one most wanted person was arrested for the murder of his comrade.

00:07That's what Denise Osorio reported.

00:11Calaboso is a man who hid for more than a year because of the murder of his comrade in Binondo, Manila in September 2023.

00:20The top one most wanted person in the district level was confirmed to be Alyas Darwin.

00:25But even though Alyas Darwin confessed to the murder in Manila Police District, he immediately changed his mind in front of the media.

00:31He said he can't do it.

00:33After he was shot, he confessed.

00:43A shooting incident took place in Parola Compound in Binondo, Manila last year.

01:20The victim was in front of the house when the suspect suddenly came and shot the back of the child.

01:26According to the victim's relatives, there was a witness to the shooting.

01:31It was painful for us because we compared the death to him.

01:36Before he was shot, there was a guard for him.

01:43He didn't tell us.

01:47That's why we were surprised to see what happened to him.

01:50He said that he was in debt.

01:55I think it was a big debt.

01:57But he didn't tell me that he was a drug addict.

02:01According to the Manila Police District,

02:03he was arrested by the Manila RTC Branch 12 on December 22, 2023

02:09and because of an intelligence-driven operation,

02:12the suspect was found in Bulacan.

02:14It's hard to deny that.

02:15But the evidence against him is very strong.

02:17And in his room, there was no evidence.

02:22The victim was charged with murder against Alias Darwin.

02:25According to the barangay officials,

02:27they approached the authorities in case they could receive any evidence

02:31so that the suspect wouldn't be charged with a heinous crime.
