This is very important. If I can, I will read it as well.
00:06
The Ministry of Health is not helping.
00:10
The Ministry of Health received the second highest grant,
00:14
RM45.3 billion.
00:18
So, I have instructed the Ministry of Health,
00:23
Ministry of Education and related ministries
00:27
to pay more attention to basic necessities.
00:32
For example, the facilities of hospitals,
00:34
such as lobbies,
00:37
need to be improved.
00:43
Don't say that the facilities are not enough.
00:46
Improve the facilities for these ministries.
00:49
Invest in other areas.
00:51
Ensure the facilities for the people,
00:54
especially for the patients.
00:57
This is an instruction for all ministries.
01:24
The message is strong.
01:34
Build a country free from poverty,
01:38
disease,
01:40
and hostile enemies.
01:43
A nation which continues to be free from poverty,
01:48
and free from epidemics and destructive forces.
01:53
The number of da'if clinics in the country
01:57
has increased to RM100 million.
02:00
RM150 million has been provided.
02:03
And RM300 million for 2025.
02:07
Sugar.
02:09
In the Friday sermon,
02:11
the Speaker of the Assembly
02:14
spoke about obesity
02:18
and diabetes.
02:22
So,
02:24
we have to pay attention
02:27
to ways to reduce it.
02:30
So, we must support
02:32
the movement, War on Sugar.
02:35
So, the government suggested
02:38
to increase the number of duty exercise
02:41
to a minimum.
02:43
The daily sugar intake
02:46
from January 1, 2025
02:49
to 40 cent per litre.
02:54
The additional income
02:57
will be used
02:59
for public health expenses,
03:04
including medicines,
03:07
diabetes treatment,
03:10
and dialysis centres.
03:17
The public health system
03:22
must be strengthened
03:24
to be able to stand on their own feet.
03:27
So, the establishment of the KKM
03:29
will be introduced,
03:31
involving GLEEK.
03:34
This is a statement
03:37
by the private, public, and government.
03:41
It started in five hospitals
03:44
and will be expanded.
03:47
The government also increased
03:49
the cooperation of 91 private hospitals
03:52
to provide outpatient services.
03:55
KKM involves services such as
03:57
cardiology, radiology, and others
03:59
to reduce the pressure
04:01
on the government hospitals.
