00:05They just can't keep the ball out the back of the net, can they, ultimately?

00:09I'm not sure what the exact stats are in terms of goals conceded per game.

00:15I haven't done my debrief yet, because we're recording this podcast quite early on Friday morning,

00:20so I will take a look into Shrewsbury's defensive record, but it's not pretty.

00:27Their clean sheet record is particularly not pretty either.

00:31I'm not sure exactly, but I think it's something like 3 in 20.

00:37And ultimately, they don't score a lot of goals, and they let too many in.

00:46And it's just an absolute recipe for disaster, isn't it, from a town point of view?

00:51I know it sounds so simple when you put it like that, but they're letting in too many goals.

00:58They're not even giving themselves a chance, because the defending and the letting in the goals,

01:05it just puts too much pressure on them to then have to take the opportunities when they come.

01:11And obviously, when they don't do that, they kind of draw a blank, too.

01:16I think that the overall form, eight losses from 12 games,

01:21it's just pretty bleak, isn't it, really, for a Shrewsbury fan?
