00:13The results of the joint survey carried out by the High Commissioner for the third quarter
00:19show a moderate improvement in the perception of households on their savings capacity.
00:25Indeed, 10.9% of households anticipate a savings capacity in the next 12 months
00:31against 89.1% who do not foresee it.
00:35In parallel, 97.5% of households have seen an increase in food prices
00:42over the last 12 months, an indicator of progress compared to the previous quarter
00:47where this figure was minus 96 points.
00:51As for the future evolution of food prices, 84.4% of households expect a new increase
00:59over the next 12 months, while 14.7% foresee stability and only 0.9% anticipate a decrease.
01:08Note that the balance of opinion has deteriorated to minus 83.5 points, confirming persistent concerns.
01:17In Morocco, the density of companies has recorded considerable growth in recent years.
01:24According to the Moroccan Observatory of the Very Small, Small and Medium Enterprises,
01:28this dynamism is the result of a strong entry and creation rate of companies
01:33coupled with an exceptionally low output rate of 1.2%.
01:38However, the output rate of FACTO, which includes inactive, undissolved companies, remains high at 7.3%.
01:45This suggests, according to the same source, difficulties in the liquidation and bankruptcy procedures in Morocco.
01:52The joint report of the World Bank and the Observatory also emphasizes that Morocco
01:57faces a low growth rate of high-potential companies, thus slowing job creation.

02:14In addition to national economic news, the landings of coastal and artisanal fishing
02:19at ports located on the Mediterranean in Tintin, 12,023 tons,
02:24at the end of September last year, decreased by 13% compared to the same period of the previous year.
02:30According to the National Fisheries Office, these landings are worth 9%,
02:35at more than 561 million dirhams over the first nine months of the year,
02:40compared to the same period a year earlier.
02:43At the national level, the landings of commercialized products of coastal and artisanal fishing
02:49reached more than 936,300 tons at the end of September,
02:53an increase of 2% compared to the same period a year earlier.
02:57These landings are worth an increase of 8%, at more than 8.46 billion dirhams.
