00:55We watched the whole series in a one night.

00:58We did like a whole day screening where we watched eight episodes.

01:05And then the vino came out a bit later.

01:07The last couple I was a bit...

01:10Can you actually remember the last couple of episodes then?

01:12No, no, listen, I've got to say, it's great for us because we're in it and we're important

01:15characters but, you know, there's other people in it that we didn't see most of the work

01:19that they've done.

01:20Yeah, yeah.

01:21So I was, I mean, I was getting choked up at stuff which is a bit weird because you're

01:25sort of in it.

01:26There's about 40 characters and the first episode is so amazing because it introduces

01:3240 characters so seamlessly.

01:35Yeah, it does, yeah.

01:36And you kind of get a grip of who everyone is, what the relationships are in an hour

01:41which is quite a difficult thing to do, I think, in a first episode but it's dead easy.

01:45So well done.

01:46It makes you want to watch more, doesn't it?

01:47It's so well done.

01:48It really does.

01:49You know, I'm slightly biased but I think this is proper television.

01:53This is like the top elite.

01:56And honour should be part of it.

01:58Honestly, I think people think I just say this but I'm very honest.

02:02I genuinely think this is the best bit of telly we've had in years.

02:07How do you feel now that people are actually going to get to see it because it's out Friday?

02:15It's really difficult and I feel like this show is like pure escapism.

02:24It shines a light on the 80s but in a period way so it's okay

02:28but it sort of like ticks all the boxes, doesn't it?

02:30Like I said, it's a perfect bit of television.

02:33It's got something for everybody and it's just...

02:37Like I said, it's inspiring to be part of stuff.

02:40We've been around quite a while, me and Lise,

02:42and you're just always grateful to be working, to be fair,

02:46and then sometimes, very rarely, you come across a gig and you're like...

02:52And it humbles you.

02:53Do you remember at the read-through when we met at the read-through?

02:55And we were shitting ourselves.

02:56And we were like, oh my gosh.

03:00And then this is the biggest read-through I've ever been to.

03:02It was three tiers of people.

03:03There was about 200 people there.

03:05We were like, this is proper.

03:06And of course Disney were there.

03:08You know, it's like sitting in the electric chair, you know what I mean?

03:11You feel like you'll be elbowed at any point.

03:13I'm going to get sacked.

03:14But it went really well.

03:15We enjoyed it.

03:17It's such a special group of people as well.

03:19Everyone's saying that you're going to stay in touch.

03:21I know as actors, when you've got busy lives, it's hard to actually do that.

03:24But I think on this, you've created bonds that are unbreakable now, right?

03:27Well, we've had some socials, haven't we?

03:29No, but what I will say is that I've got a few WhatsApp groups and things

03:32that die after a gig.
