'Surprise' baby born to Australian couple sheltering from Hurricane Milton

Dayna Sly travelled to Disneyland in Orlando, Florida, with her partner Tony O'Keefe, while unaware that she was 41 weeks pregnant and about to give birth in a hotel bathroom.

00:30It was quite crazy outside, I think it was a tornado warning and possibly a Category

00:48I think there were 28 tornadoes.

00:49Category 2 in Orlando, but we were inside the hotel and within minutes the 911 was there,

00:58they got me down the stairs, I had already given birth before I got to the hospital,

01:02but they were absolutely excellent, yeah.

01:20My baby is not an Australian citizen.

01:22She's technically got an American birth certificate and at the moment we've been trying to contact

01:28the Australian authorities and we were jumping through some hoops yesterday just to get some

01:32help.
