Pro-Palestine protests continue nationwide

Thousands of Pro-Palestinian supporters have again rallied across Australia, demanding a ceasefire and freedom for Palestine. Brisbane saw its biggest protest yet, but there was none of the violence we have seen around the country in recent weeks.

00:00Anger and despair spills onto Brisbane streets.

00:12Pro-Palestine demonstrators of all ages marched through the CBD,

00:17demanding an end to the bloodshed as the death toll rises in Gaza and now Lebanon.

00:24I sympathise and empathise with the people from Gaza and the West Bank and Palestine.

00:30People are still dying on the ground every day.

00:33Many of these protesters say their calls have been falling on deaf ears and they've had enough.

00:38They're demanding the federal government take stronger action and sanction the Israeli government.

00:43And to stop any arms trading with Israel.

00:48Police kept a watchful eye.

00:50The protest ended outside the ABC's Brisbane headquarters at Southbank.

00:55No arrests were made.

01:01Their calls echoed in Sydney.

01:03We haven't seen yet enough response from the Australian government to do what they're supposed to do.

01:09This is a humanitarian crisis.

01:11And in Melbourne, protesters held their 52nd rally.

01:18No signs of stopping as the war rages on.
