00:47It's what the sample sounds like we're gonna put this in the channel rack, let's just move it mixer channel one

00:55Basically to adjust these two items you're just gonna move these knobs here. It's actually um

01:04That's really it this is the panning knob here and this is the channel volume here

01:15So you can turn it down up or down so this is useful for a gain staging especially

01:21Which is more advanced concept, but be sure to check that out

01:25Just look gain staging up on fo studio up on YouTube or it's longer beats YouTube

01:32So that's the volume knob here and then

01:35Panning right ear left ear so you can also just do a full studio separation

01:41You can do mono

01:43like

01:45mono, this is in the mixer mono and

01:48And for like with stereo

01:53All right, that's really it

01:57So basically like all this is useful again like

02:00Adjusting the volume here is is good for gain staging like it's good to turn the volume down here

02:06Before it goes into the mixer, so you keep the keep the sounds in green

02:12Just gives you like a better sound like if it's like this it's like all up here

02:17You know, it's hard to hear the rest of that sounds in the track and several other reasons

02:22But you know you want to mix turn the volume down here in general when you're gain staging and then pan left and right

02:28You can do this like different hi-hats

02:30Could create a really neat effect or different drum sounds especially left ear right ear. So whatever you want to do, you know

02:38that's the beauty of beat making you can be creative with it and

02:41You can also right-click on these and copy the value

02:45So say I like want to turn down multiple volumes to the same level I could copy this

02:51right click copy this

02:54paste

02:57Paste

03:04Copy value paste value paste value so you can do that, you know, you can do the same thing here

03:12Copy value

03:14Paste value. So yeah, that's useful to know too. So
