00:00When the Department of Foreign Affairs decided that 20 Filipinas were rescued in Cambodia,

00:05Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Eduardo de Vega brought them to Cambodia

00:11to be a surrogate mother of a child who was banned from the country.

00:16Seven of them were able to repatriate while the other 13 were staying in a local hospital.

00:23Because they were in the middle of the investigation,

00:25based on the initial investigation, the recruiter did not have a physical address

00:30and the recruitment was done online.

00:33The recruiter here arranged for our countrymen to travel to other countries in Southeast Asia,

00:39but in the end, they were brought to Cambodia.

00:44They're safe, they're not in the point of dying.

00:47According to our agency,

00:52we might not even know the physical address of this embassy

00:57because they were all contacted via social media, via email, Facebook.
