00:00One place that you start with how the defense can get back on the right track one thing that stands out most

00:06Just tackling. I mean obviously offensive guys are gonna make plays, but we have to limit those plays those those extra

00:23I feel like we're going too much for the strip sometimes and going for the big hit instead of just getting guys on the ground

00:29We feel like we correct those things you know

00:32Some plays will be in our favor so a lot of this at least some of this is fixable

00:36Yeah, I mean obviously we're what week five into the season it should have been fixed, but we still have opportunity Sunday

00:42We're one in four, but we still have everything in front of us we get this one on Sunday

00:46You know it can be a lot carrying over. How are you doing physically?

00:48I feel good obviously to miss last week, but I feel good going in this week, and I'll be ready for Sunday

00:55Any game, but was last week particularly frustrating seeing how much Lou blitzed

00:59Yeah, as soon as he so told us the game plan on Wednesday

01:03I kind of got a little frustrated because that's my type of game, but we play well

01:08You know change a couple plays here and there no we could have won

01:11But you can't can't can't dwell on it get ready. We got you ready for Sunday night

01:17But do you ever think back to training camp and this is one of the best?

01:22Offenses in the league and you guys are right there with them winning half the day

01:28Not really obviously we see them every day

01:31So we've got a good feel on what they want to run and stuff like that

01:33But when it comes to the season we just have to be better on our end as a whole

01:38Obviously we're not getting enough pressure on the quarterback

01:40We're not making plays when the football is in the air

01:42And it's causing us to give up a lot of points and explosives

01:45So we got to find ways to do that and get our offense on the field

01:48Do you like that idea Mike of trying to dictate a little more with aggression with blitzing going forward to try to

01:55jump-start things like

01:59Yeah, it'll be a tone setter for us, you know, obviously starting out early getting the quarterback frustrated and flustered, you know

02:04Obviously Lamar played great, you know, that's just one of one of those guys

02:07But we feel like the game plan was good

02:09And you know, it kind of definitely gave us a lot of confidence that we got that we can carry into Sunday night

02:15Going down DJ Turner's now gonna be starting

02:18I know he started a lot last year, but where have you seen DJ Turner grow the most?

02:22He's improved so much pretty much out of everybody in our room his his trajectory has been going up

02:27You know, he's been playing well

02:28And now he's stepping back into to that corner number two row and we expect him to play play real well and be a playmaker

02:45Obviously it starts up front with anything run or pass and we know obviously we have one of the best crash wrestlers in the game

02:50And we got a great

02:52Front for when they're all healthy, but they haven't been but now that they're starting to get back, you know, we feel confident

03:04I know we've been playing like like shit for real

03:07Honestly, and we know we have to have to turn around for us to have a chance to make this make this run

03:12But that's the thing about this game. You always have another opportunity to go out there and prove yourself

03:27Definitely, you know, obviously with our office, we know we're gonna put up points, but as a defense we gotta be so much better

03:32We shouldn't be giving up 30 plus points when our office is putting up 30 plus

03:36We're talented defense. We just got five ways to get off the field at the end of the day
