00:00The nominations for the 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards or EMAs have been announced.

00:06Taylor Swift leads with seven nominations, followed by Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish,

00:11Sabrina Carpenter and Charli XCX with five each. Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar,

00:16Lisa and Aerostar have four nods each. 19 new nominations are in the running for their first

00:22MTV EMAs, including Disclosure and BTS Jimin. Aside from global music sensations, K-pop stars

00:29like BTS' Jungkook, New Genes and Le Seraphim are also included. The nation's girl group,

00:36Beanie, is also nominated for Best Asia Act. They are competing against South Korea's girl

00:41group, Illicit, and other Asian acts. The 2024 MTV EMAs will take place on November 10 in

00:48Manchester, UK and fan voting is now officially open.
