00:01If you consume 10 units of something today, your dream is to consume at least 100 units

00:06tomorrow.

00:07Because that's what means progress and happiness to you, right?

00:09Do you see that definition of success is what has become the climate crisis?

00:13So it's our dreams that have become the curse of this planet.

00:17Unfortunately, we live for our dreams.

00:19Unfortunately, we are produced to fulfill dreams.

00:22If you do not live by these dreams, even your society and your family will not spare you.

00:27You tell them that if I do all these things, I'm really, literally destroying the earth.

00:33Still they would not listen.

00:34They'll say, no, no, no.

00:35But you should.

00:36And anyway, what can you do by fighting as a lone wolf, a solitary warrior?

00:40Even if you do not consume, even if you do not proliferate, still everybody else is doing

00:44the same thing.

00:45See your cousin Dhanno, she just gave birth to her fourth one.

00:48You can at least have three.

00:49That's what is killing the planet.

00:51And any numbers of summits or conferences or declarations or agreements are not going

00:56to help.

00:57All that is simply eye wash.

00:58We are fooling ourselves.
