Hezbollah said it has launched a “large rocket salvo” north of Israel’s third-biggest city Haifa, for the second time today.

It follows their first-ever attack on Haifa in the early hours of this morning, which managed to evade Israel’s generally dependable air-defence system. Local media said ten people were injured.

Meanwhile, Israel’s army claimed it hit more than 120 Hezbollah targets “within an hour”.

“The IAF [Israeli air force] conducted an extensive aerial operation and struck over 120 terror targets in southern Lebanon within an hour,” the Israel Defense Forces said in a statement, adding that their targets belonged to the Hezbollah’s elite Radwan forces and other units.
