00:39The ASEAN foreign ministers' meeting officially kicked off the four-day summits.
00:44Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Hassan arrived in the Laos capital on Sunday.
00:49Myanmar has sent the foreign ministry's permanent secretary Aung Kyaw Moe to join the meetings
00:55as a representative despite the junta leadership being banned over their failure to comply
01:00with the peace plan they had initially agreed to.
01:03On October 11th, Laos will officially hand over the ASEAN chairmanship to Malaysia.
