00:17It is the 6th day of filing of the Certificate of Candidacy for the 2025 midterm elections.

00:24At the media press conference held last night, 5th of October,

00:28former President Rodrigo Duterte welcomed his plan to run as Mayor of Davao City in the 2025 midterm elections.

00:37In addition, his son will be his running mate as the busy Mayor of Davao City,

00:41who is now Mayor Sebastian Duterte.

00:44The FPRRD also clarified that he will submit a Certificate of Candidacy before he is elected.

00:49His plan to run for a higher position in the country is no longer valid, especially at his age.

00:55Aside from his grandson, former President Rigo Duterte, who is running as the Councilor of the 1st District of Davao City,

01:01there is no other Duterte who submitted a Certificate of Candidacy for the midterm elections.
