00:00Lynx versus the Sun now that we are rolling through this postseason. You've

00:07got the Lynx who dropped one and then tied things up so this series is one and

00:11one currently. The Sun were able to take home

00:14court advantage, stealing game one on the road by three points. You got a Lynx

00:19team powered by Collier as we've talked about a number of times but they can't

00:23rely on her solely because Sun's defense did step up and they found ways

00:26to kind of isolate and contain her just a bit. So when we're looking at this

00:30matchup, when we're looking at how the Sun readjusted their defense to try to

00:33ice out Collier a little bit, doesn't mean the Corneliums didn't step up to

00:37the plate to help out her team but what are we seeing in this matchup going on

00:39tonight? Very simply put folks, it's the battle at the three-point line. These

00:47are two of the best defensive teams in the WNBA. Go look at the tape, go look at

00:53the games. Game number one, Connecticut, the worst three-pointing shooting team

00:57in the WNBA. Shoots over 40% from three. They win by three. Obviously Minnesota

01:04struggles. Game number two, it completely flipped. You had a team in the Lynx that

01:11shot the ball extremely well from three. I think they shot it at 42% and then you

01:15had 25% for the Connecticut Sun. Simply put, Casey, whoever defends the

01:22three and hits the three, that team will win game number three.

01:28Okay, I was wondering where we're gonna go with that because you're right when

01:33you mentioned the three. Also, we talked about Marina Mayberry and the fact that

01:37she's somebody who stepped up in that category, not only defending the three

01:40but posting some crucial threes herself to help the Sun pivot through. More

01:45importantly, you've got the Lynx that are second in playoff with scoring but can

01:49we get other players? They have five double-digit players on their roster. Can

01:52we get other players to get involved and alleviate some pressure off of Collier?

01:55We've got one minute before we take it to break but we'll continue this

01:57conversation on the other side. You know, I think one thing to look at is

02:05really those two. You gotta look at just Smith. You have to look at, obviously,

02:10I think Collier's gonna bounce back. I think it was a terrible performance.

02:13Hint, hint, you'll be seeing that as part of my card of my best bets. But to me, the

02:18three-point shooters of Smith will be beneficial. Also, look at McBride and

02:23Williams. You've got to shoot the ball from free because then you allow Collier to push.

02:28They will shoot from free. Hint, hint, I think you know where I'm going or who's gonna win the game today.
