Shipping container crushed like a soda-can in North Carolina floods

Footage from a resident’s third-floor apartment shows enormous damage from Hurricane Helene in Swannanoa, North Carolina.
A shipping container stunned onlookers when it floated rapidly down the town and was crushed like a soda can upon hitting a large pylon.
Floodwaters destroyed the Asheville Tea Company building, though all employees are said to be safe, but the city remains without water or power.
The footage was taken on Friday, September 27th 2024.
