00:00The punishment for the lifetime imprisonment and fine of five times the value of the product

00:07for anyone who violates the anti-agricultural economic sabotage law aka BIR,

00:16Commissioner Romeo Lumagi Jr., under our law,

00:22the primary target of their agency is hoarding,

00:26monopolizing, and smuggling for the productive agriculture, especially in the tobacco industry.

00:32More than Php 1 billion is lost because of the hefty tax that will be paid for the excise tax.

00:38This is followed by the continuation of the BIR in the management of various agencies of the government,

00:44such as the National Tobacco Administration,

00:46the Philippine National Police, and others in the implementation of the so-called law.

00:51Meanwhile, the penalty for violating the law of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is high,

01:00where digital services providers will be exempted from the value-added tax VAT,

01:07especially the companies from other countries,

01:10where the expected revenue of more than Php 100 billion will be collected within five years.

01:21This is important because, first of all,

01:24the playing field is being leveled because the local digital service providers are already paying VAT.

01:31The foreign companies that are not here,

01:33they are the ones with more subscribers here,

01:36just like the movies we watch, the music.

01:40And our estimate there that will be collected is more than Php 100 billion over the period of five years.
