00:00In Idlib, for once, it's time to rejoice.

00:06People are celebrating Israel's attacks on Hezbollah and the death of its leader, Hassan

00:12Azrella.

00:13They hand out sweets, congratulate each other, and follow every bit of news coming out of

00:17Lebanon.

00:20We are overjoyed that the leader of Hezbollah was assassinated by the Zionist state.

00:25Obviously, we do not support Israel, but we are very happy that one of the oppressors

00:29that participated in the massacre of our Syrian brothers and other people in the region

00:34was taken out.

00:36This destruction is partly the work of Hezbollah.

00:39Throughout the war in Syria, the Shia Lebanese movement has fought alongside the Assad regime.

00:45To this day, it is active in regime positions just outside the province of Idlib, and regularly

00:51attacks this rebel stronghold.

00:54The presence of Hezbollah since the start of the Syrian revolution is no secret to anyone.

00:59We know they were here in large numbers during the campaign in western Aleppo, in the eastern

01:04province of Idlib, along the coast.

01:07It's also well known that Hezbollah fighters took part in recent military campaigns of

01:12the regime against the Syrian people.

01:15Over half of Idlib's population, of around 4 million, has been displaced by the war.

01:21This family in the Al-Tahr camp lost their home in an attack by Hezbollah.

01:26To them, today's news comes as a relief.

01:30Before the revolution, we supported Hezbollah, but they betrayed us.

01:34They forced us to leave our homes, they stole our belongings, destroyed our schools and

01:38villages.

01:39Today we are seeing what Israel is doing to Hezbollah.

01:42They are being eliminated, and it's bringing us joy.

01:45It's warming the hearts of the young and the old.

01:49But the attacks keep coming.

01:51These images were sent to us by residents of Kafriya a few days ago.

01:55Local authorities say the regime's strikes were fired from Hezbollah positions in retaliation

02:02for recent celebrations.

02:04According to the Syrian civil defence, this latest attack has left five people dead, including

02:10children.
