00:00The assistance of our fellowmen in Batanes and Cagayan Valley was greatly supported by the storm Hulian.

00:09And aside from the relief operations, the clearing operations also started.

00:16This is April Ratio of Radyo Pilipinas in Central Nambalita.

00:23More than 22,000 individuals in the Lombok-Cagayan region,

00:27particularly in the Batanes and Cagayan Valleys, were affected by the strong winds brought by the storm Hulian.

00:32Based on the latest data of the DSWD Region 2,

00:35of the 7,643 families, 22,841 individuals were affected in 65 barangays in two provinces.

00:45From the total number, 6,506 families or 19,091 individuals were affected in Batanes,

00:51while 1,137 families or 3,750 individuals were affected in Cagayan.

00:58At present, there is a record of partial damage from the storm.

01:02Meanwhile, more than P88,000 humanitarian assistance was distributed to the government

01:08from the LGUs and the DSWD supplies that were placed in these areas.

01:13After the strong winds and rain, although it is still dark, the situation calmed down

01:19and clearing operations are underway in the affected areas.
