A monster game tonight in Baltimore, the Ravens host the Buffalo Bills. Buffalo with a win
00:10
very well could find themselves positioned as AFC favorites. The Ravens right now with
00:17
their win against Dallas, I don't know if save the season is too strong, but now they're
00:22
still favorites to win the AFC North Cincinnati not handling business. Their favorite win
00:28
this football game and it feels like the conferences, the usual suspects with Baltimore, Buffalo
00:34
and Kansas City looking like the best teams overall. But if you are the Ravens as a two
00:40
and a half point home favorite total now 46 and a half, Lacey, it feels like if you want
00:46
to solidify again, your spot is one of the true Super Bowl contenders. You got to protect
00:51
home field tonight. Absolutely. I have to get Derek Henry back involved. We saw him
00:55
break out with a huge performance, 151 yards on the ground. Slowly. They've implemented
01:01
him in regards to the receiving game, 23 yards on one reception. If they could do that, you
01:06
get that defense running sideline to sideline, and then you could utilize the rushing attack
01:11
and you could utilize Lamar on the perimeter. So we'll see how this plays out. And if you
01:15
get up, do not get complacent, be aggressive, look to close this game out. Just because
01:20
you have a fourth quarter lead the way they did against Las Vegas, you cannot get inconsistent.
01:26
And that's the biggest thing tonight. If they jump up early, Baltimore one and two against
01:30
6.6 yards per play this season, which is fantastic. But also, you know, what's interesting about
01:34
their one and two record, like they go on the road to Kansas City. Okay. They lost that
01:38
game. You figured they would have an easy victory at home, but they didn't get that
01:41
easy victory against Vegas. Then they go on the road against the Dallas Cowboys and they
01:45
pick up the victory. So whatever's, if I would have told you they would have lost game one,
01:48
game two, lost game three. Okay. I wanted to not so bad. It just got heightened with
01:51
that Owen to start, but I thought they were really good against the Dallas Cowboys overall.
01:55
I need more out of say flowers. I need more out of the passing game. Joe, I understand
01:58
how good Derrick Henry is. And yes, the formality of this football team is we want to be fast,
02:03
but we want to be physical and we want to run the ball. They did that with Derrick Henry.
02:06
And as I told you already, love him to score in any time touchdown. But if I'm getting
02:09
to the passing game, I don't think we can just run the football today and beat the Buffalo
02:13
bills. No, he has to get over his prop today. Uh, two Oh four and a half is Lamar's passing
02:18
prop. And to Donny's point, Zay flowers, Rashad Bateman, even Andrews and likely they have
02:23
to be more consistent with the passing attack as well. That could open up the Russian game
02:27
as well. I'm not saying go away from the run, but be more aggressive, especially against
02:32
that Buffalo defense. I will just say though, Lamar game number one through two 73 through
02:37
the air game. Number two gets to two 47. The only reason he was at 182, he only threw the
02:42
ball 15 times. They didn't need to throw the ball anymore. And that game was a complete
02:46
runaway and down the back stretch there. It wasn't even like, Oh, they got conservative.
02:52
Dallas started to control the possession. They got an onside kick that went back their
02:55
way. So I would just say, I think the Ravens have been solid in either area offensively
03:01
here. I think the questions come tonight on the Ravens defensively who have allowed big
03:07
passing totals in all three of their football games so far and go up against Josh Allen,
03:12
who is the rightful current MVP favorite, who is playing the best football maybe of
03:17
his career and certainly the cleanest football of his career. Josh Allen throwing an interception.
03:23
You could set your watch to Josh Allen to go in consecutive games without an interception
03:28
was an absolute rarity. He hasn't thrown a pick yet this season. Books are expecting
03:33
one tonight. Minus one 40 is a strong number for a guy who hasn't turned it over yet this
03:39
season. And that's, I think, one of the really big things to watch. Again, not discrediting
03:44
what Buffalo has done. This is a huge game. This is Sunday night. This is the Baltimore
03:49
Ravens, the reigning number one seed in this conference. How does Josh play, even if it's
03:55
a loss? But do we get those two interception games from Josh Allen again, where we go?
04:00
All right. Maybe the again, protection we saw was a little bit fluky. One thing I'm
04:06
expecting is Dalton Kincaid to break through his thirty eight and a half total. The tight
04:11
ends have really performed well this season against the Ravens. Ninety for Brock Bowers
04:16
and well as Jake Ferguson in consecutive weeks against this defense. I still think when it's
04:21
all said and done, Kincaid is the top guy for Josh Allen. I'm playing him over his thirty
04:26
eight and a half. That's a good look. I look to Keon Coleman to get more involved and I'll
04:30
get involved. I'll talk about that in a little bit. But to your point about, you know, throwing
04:34
interceptions, the biggest change I see Josh Allen, he's distributing the football to
04:39
multiple receivers. Shakir's gotten involved. Ty Johnson, when he's in there, James Cook,
04:44
Kincaid, a little Dawson Knox. It hasn't been, you know, elite wide receivers, but it shows
04:49
that he's poised, he's confident and he's going through his reads and progressions.
04:54
And that's why he's limiting turnovers. He actually might be a better quarterback without
04:58
Stefan Diggs in that lineup because he has to look for secondary receivers, Donnie. And
05:03
that's what you're seeing through the first three.
05:05
You just hit the nail on the head. I was going to bring up that same point and I'm glad you
05:07
went down that path because sometimes you're saying I have to force feed this guy even
05:11
if it's not the right read, but I just have to keep him in the game because at halftime
05:14
he might spike his helmet and tell me he's going home with his own football. So now you're
05:17
looking to make those read progressions and it makes sense. But also, you know, it's been
05:20
looking phenomenal on this team, James Cook, and that helps your quarterback out. If you
05:24
can get those easy yards running and also receiving out of the backfield, it only helps
05:28
at this point. I want to see how aggressive the Buffalo Bills will be tonight. I want
05:32
to see if they face adversity. You might say, look at those first three games, not
05:35
much adversity. Did you watch game number one down two touchdowns to the Arizona Cardinals?
05:40
Outside of that first half, they've been flawless in their game planning, Kevin.
