00:10midnight section at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival. The story is set in Port-au-Prince,

00:31Kidnapping Inc. is a dark comedy and a political thriller inspired by the phenomenon of kidnapping

00:38in Haiti. This film deals with an important issue, given so many, including my friends

00:44and family, have been victims of kidnapping, violence, or corruption in this country. In

00:51a cruel irony, even our crew got kidnapped during the production in 2021. Over the years,

00:57we have risked everything to finish this film. Despite political unrest, the assassination

01:02of the president, COVID, or production that has stopped three times, our team still managed

01:08to finish this movie and tell this story.

01:11Our story, Kidnapping Inc., is a cross-genre film packed with action, comedy, suspense,

01:18a cinematic UFO. It's its strength and originality.
