Eric Roberts and Britt Stewart revealed with THR that they had "fully prepared to be eliminated" during the 'Dancing With the Stars' double elimination. Plus, they talk about receiving a 4 from judge Derek Hough.

00:00We have two performances under our belt. How are we feeling tonight?

00:04Lucky.

00:05Oh, I'm feeling good. He progressed after the first week and that's something I can be very proud of.

00:12She's a grown-up, I'm a child. I feel great that I survived.

00:17I do too.

00:19And this week was Oscars night. I mean, you're an actor, like, do you feel like you have a leg up in the competition

00:26because you're like, I've been in movies before, I can do this?

00:31I am an actor. I am not an answerer. I had no leg up.

00:36And what was going through your mind? I mean, we had the double elimination tonight.

00:40What were you thinking, like, while you were waiting for your name to be called?

00:43You know the answer.

00:45We had fully prepared to be eliminated.

00:47Fully prepared. I accepted it. I was out.

00:49Yes, being at the bottom of the leaderboard, first elimination, and double elimination,

00:53we had no idea what the votes were going to be like.

00:55And really, the Dancing with the Stars fans, they pulled us through and we're really grateful for that.

01:00You have no idea how grateful I am.

01:02We were prepared and then very, very, very pleasantly surprised and grateful for it.

01:08And we saw your wife out there cheering for you. How does it feel to see the support out there from her?

01:14Well, this is her favorite show. That's why I'm doing it. So it's great.

01:19And we have the granddaughters here tonight.

01:21Oh, how special. Oh, my gosh. Does that add any more pressure to you?

01:26Like, you're like, I have my family out here. I need to perform, like, the best that I possibly can.

01:30No, it adds fun because I remember watching, you know, my parents do things when I was a kid

01:34and being very proud and going, hmm, that's good.

01:38Thinking, wow, that's cool. So I hope that's what happened with her tonight.

01:43And, I mean, you did receive a four from Derek. And I will say, there was audible gasps.

01:50I was shocked myself. Like, what was going through your mind when you saw that?

01:54What was going through my mind is, Derek is mean.

01:58Aww.

01:59I'll say it again. Derek is mean.

02:01But, I mean, you did get praise from some of the other judges.

02:04Carrie Ann was, like, saying that you improved from last week. How did that feel like?

02:09Well, that's great, but I had to improve. I was horrible last week.

02:13I wouldn't say that. You have killed it.

02:17No.

02:18I would honestly say that.

02:20As his partner and pro in this process, I would not...

02:23Coach.

02:24Coach in this process, I would not say that at all.

02:28Yes, there was a lot of room for improvement, but he went out there and we had fun

02:33and he made it through the entire dance, and that's what's important.
