A tour of Hilsea Lido and what facilities can be found

Editor Kelly Brown takes a tour of Hilsea Lido - the perfect place to visit in the summer!

00:00Hi there, my name's Kelly Brown from the Portsmouth News and today I'm taking you on a little tour of the splash park at Hillside Hotel.

00:07So you come through this entrance. It's not open all year round, it's obviously only open in the summer months.

00:15But it's fantastic and it's free, it gets very busy in the summer.

00:20But it's got two main wet pool areas. It's got this fun trampoline which lots of kids love.

00:26There's some more play areas there. This is the second sort of pool splash area with a fun little bridge.

00:34And lots of stepping stones to go over which obviously the children love.

00:40We've got some picnic areas in the back. Some more see-saw-y type play equipment.

00:49Not sure what that's called but you get my drift.

00:51Another picnic area there. There's lots of free parking behind.

00:57And then over here we have the toilets and a little cafe that is open during the summer.

01:04So yeah, if you've never paid a visit to the splash pool area here at Hillside then come down here in the summer and enjoy.
