Scott Parker expecting a tough test against Portsmouth

Scott Parker is looking forward to getting back to Turf Moor but is expecting a tough game against newly promoted Portsmouth.

00:05certainly after the result of the weekend as well, Gary, obviously a big result for

00:10us against a tough team and yeah, looking forward to getting back in front of our home

00:15fans and hopefully trying to put in a good performance and gain three points really.

00:20They've had an incredible, tough start. They've played some very, very good teams, scored

00:25three goals away at Ellum Road and they've had some good results, Luton as well. We're

00:32under no illusions that tomorrow at three o'clock when this game starts, exactly what

00:36we're probably going to see. This will be a very difficult fixture for us, absolutely.

00:41No doubt about that. We need to go into this game fully focused, fully understanding of

00:46the dynamics of it as well. So there's a tough, tough game ahead of us here. I'll probably

00:51say that for large parts this season, every week, because that's what this division is,

00:56to be honest with you. Every game there is no easy game and certainly tomorrow there's

01:01a difficult task ahead of us.

01:03They're a good side, to be honest with you. They want to try and play the right way. They

01:05can cause you problems in terms of certain aspects of how they play and how they position

01:11in terms of that. So yeah, look, we need to be fully aware of the problems and the players

01:17are. We've prepped that this week in that sense. We need to go into this game very intensely

01:22about us, front foot early on and then dominate where we can in their moments. They're a good

01:28side that can cause you problems if you allow them and we need to be fully aware.
