Dillon Goss' running challange

In November, Devonport's Dillion Goss will run a 1300 kilometre lap around Tasmania in support of the charity SPEAK UP! StayChatTY. It's a cause close to the 20-year-old's heart who has struggled with mental health since high school.

00:04I'm Dylan Goss and I'm running around my home state of Tasmania

00:08to raise awareness and funds for mental health.

00:11Let's go!

00:14The reason I run isn't just for the physical benefits,

00:17it's for the mental ones too.

00:18I faced my own mental health challenges when I was a teenager

00:21and running has been incredibly helpful for me.

00:30Throughout my life I've faced challenges,

00:32including severe anxiety and battles with depression.

00:37Thankfully I'm in a much better place now.

00:39Running has given me a sense of purpose in life.

00:46I'll be running around Tasmania,

00:48a 1300km journey to raise awareness and funds

00:52in support of Speak Up, Stay Chatty.
