00:00Venezuelan Attorney General Tarek William Saab informed on the appointment of a special
00:04prosecutor in matters of human rights to investigate Argentina's President Javier Milley and Minister
00:09of Security Patricia Bullrich for crimes against humanity.
00:13During his statements, William Saab assured Milley and his government have become a danger
00:17for the whole hemisphere based on international law.
00:21In first place, for stealing a Venezuelan plane Entrasur and kidnapping all their crew
00:26members and passengers, which involves also the simulation of criminal facts, illegal
00:31interference of internal affairs, dismantling of an aircraft, among other criminal charges.
00:37And in second place, for putting at risk peace in Argentina, whose population is under violence
00:41and suffering.
00:43For these reasons, Saab appointed a prosecutor to investigate Milley and Bullrich, since
00:48the justice system of Argentina is not taking actions in the face of the police brutality
00:53being suffered by the Argentinian people.
00:56He is some kind of modern Gandhi, some kind of saint who likes to talk about human rights
01:09when he's becoming offending and destroying the national identity of Argentina.
01:23He is the main violator of human rights in Argentina after the military dictatorship
01:32that attacked the South Pole and Argentina in the 1970s, 80s, etc.
01:40After showing video footages of the repression by Argentinian police against the most vulnerable
01:45sectors of society, the Venezuelan Attorney General questioned the silence of many international
01:50organizations and accused them of double standards.
01:53What the world says about it, the International Supreme Court and the United Nations, what
02:02do they say?
02:05The international NGOs of human rights, nothing, absolutely nothing.
02:14Then it is the double standard in the matter of human rights to use it in their favor of
02:24those who violate it massively and become the police of the world.
02:30In Venezuela, the President of the National Assembly, Jorge RodrĂguez, read the original
02:34of the document where former far-right candidate Edmundo González reached an agreement with
02:39the Venezuelan executive and recognized the Supreme Court's final judgment that validates
02:44President Nicolás Maduro's election win.
02:46During a press conference held on Wednesday, RodrĂguez revealed the information by showing
02:51the original of the document circulating in the media, signed by González, where he recognized
02:56the constituent powers in Venezuela and affirmed that his departure to Spain is to consolidate
03:02peace and dialogue, undertakes not to represent any Venezuelan public institution abroad and
03:08to be prudent in his appearances.
03:10In turn, RodrĂguez assured that the Venezuelan government has been cautious and patient in
03:15view of the matrices that have been presented about how the departure of the former presidential
03:21candidate would have happened.
03:29Many news media and foreign governments, enemies of the free and sovereign revolution of Venezuela,
03:35insist in the idea that the National Electoral Council has not issued any result.
03:39Prime Minister Edmundo González Urrutia himself recognizes that the National Electoral
03:43Council issued a result on the 9th of July the 28th.
03:50The President of the Venezuelan Parliament also said that the ex-presidential candidate
03:54Edmundo González expressed in his letter his respect and recognition to the five constitutional
03:59powers of the Bolivarian state.
04:06In my country I wish to convey my respect and recognition to the constitutional institutions
04:11represented by the five state powers, the executive power, headed by Constitutional
04:16President Nicolás Maduro Moros, the legislative power, the electoral power, whose president
04:22is Elvis Amoroso, the judicial power, whose president is also President of the Electoral
04:27Chamber, Justice Carizlia Beatriz RodrĂguez, and the Republican moral power, that is, Mr.
04:33González Urrutia, expressing his respect and recognition.
04:40Rodríguez also said that the ex-presidential candidate González was the one who looked
04:45for the Venezuelan government authorities in relation to his request of political asylum
04:49in Spain.
04:55He was the one who looked for us.
04:57There wasn't any kind of pressure as foreign agencies and sectors of the Venezuelan extremist
05:01movement have, of course, pointed out.
05:08There wasn't any kind of situation in which Mr. González Urrutia could have felt intimidated.
05:13On the contrary, he looked for us in order to talk, and from that conversation came his
05:21decision to leave Venezuela and to request political asylum in the Kingdom Above Spain.
05:30As it is established in the conventions related to asylum in the international laws, about
05:35which Venezuela is strictly respectful.
05:42Let's now go over the content of the letter signed by former presidential candidate of
05:46the far-right Edmundo González Urrutia, an address to the President of the National Assembly,
05:51Jorge RodrĂguez GĂłmez, in September 7th, in which he recognized the judgment of the
05:56Supreme Court of Justice regarding the contentious electoral appeal filed by President Nicolás
06:01Maduro.
06:02The letter states,
06:03As you are aware, on August 22nd, 2024, the Electoral Chamber of the Supreme Court of
06:08Justice issued a decision in response to the contentious electoral appeal filed by the
06:13President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, in view of the controversy
06:19arising from the electoral process of July 28th, 2024.
06:23It continues,
06:24Mr. President of the National Assembly, I have always been and will continue to be willing
06:29to recognize and abide by the decisions adopted by the organs of justice within the framework
06:34of the Constitution, including the aforementioned judgment of the Electoral Chamber, which although
06:40I do not agree with, I abide by it, as it is a resolution of the highest court of the
06:46Republic.
06:47González adds, convinced of the need to explore all possibilities of understanding in the
06:52supreme interest of peace in my country, I wish to convey my respect and recognition
06:57to the constitutional institutions represented in the five branches of government.
07:02For the humor he expresses, in this context I have decided to leave Venezuela in the coming
07:07days in order to consolidate peace and political dialogue, consequently being at the headquarters
07:13of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in Caracas, I have conveyed in my intention to
07:18request political asylum before their government.
07:21The Massif closes by informing, I hereby state by the record my commitment that my
07:27public activity outside Venezuela will be limited, I do not intend in any case to exercise
07:33any formal or informal representation of public authorities of the Venezuelan state, I will
07:39be absolutely respectful of the institutions and interests of Venezuela and I will always
07:44appeal to peace, dialogue and national unity.
