00:00Let's go across the pod, let's go to Europe and the UFA Nations League.

00:06Some teams continue to deliver and there was a game that cost many, just too many expectations,

00:11much hype with France beating Belgium 2-0.

00:15That was the rematch of the 2022 World Cup or the 2018 World Cup semifinals.

00:21What do you think about that, Matt?

00:22I think it was an exciting match.

00:24We see that France are becoming more consistent in the international stage.

00:28They have still that fresh pain of not winning the final in the World Cup and that's what

00:34is going to be fueling them.

00:35I feel like Mbappé is at a level that is going to be hard to stop, but you know, talking

00:41about individual talents, if we go to the England game with Harry Kane, a hundred games

00:47for the English team, scoring two goals, his next goal is a hundred goals with the English

00:54team.

00:55Do you think he's going to achieve that?

00:56Well, I mean, he's just incredible.

00:58Harry Kane came at a time where the England national team really needed a striker.

01:03I mean, historically, they have too many of them, Gary Lineker, they've had Alan Shearer,

01:08et cetera, et cetera, Wayne Rooney most recently, Michael Alwyn.

01:12So there definitely needed to be someone that took the baton and without being, I mean,

01:16without him, Hotspur obviously one of the top teams in the world.

01:19Now he's switched over to Bundesliga, but he didn't need to be playing for Chelsea,

01:23for Manchester United, for Manchester City to show what we can do for Liverpool.

01:27He's been just incredible.

01:28We're hoping that he breaks too many records, but talking about a team that has broken too

01:32many records and won too many titles in the world stage, Germany.

01:37It is, I feel like a new era for the German team, 5-0 against Hungary, Moussala, Wirz

01:44with a dominating performance.

01:45Do you see these new class of players, this whole new generation of players, Spain led

01:51by young players, Germany led by young players, it's very interesting to see that these faces

01:56are going to be the ones dominating the field for the next five, 10 years.

02:00And there's one more team that we cannot leave behind because these guys are going to be

02:03favorites throughout the tournament.

02:05That's the reason why I brought a jersey of La Roja from 1994.

02:10They were controversially eliminated by Italy in the quarterfinals back then.

02:15But anyway, let's talk about what they have now with the young players.

02:18It seems that they're having fun again.

02:20I think that team from 2010 was pretty spectacular, especially the Barcelona players in the middle

02:26from Xabi to Iniesta to Busquets, but it seemed that the camaraderie was there.

02:30The chemistry was there.

02:31It seems like these guys are having fun once again.

02:33I think that's the most important thing on a team that wants to dominate.

02:36They need to enjoy the game as much as they control it.

02:40Incredible performances.

02:41They won 4-1 against Switzerland.

02:43They went scoreless against Serbia.

02:45A lot of dominating performances on the Nations League, great surprises like San Marino winning

02:51their first game that allows them to be on the top of their group.

02:56We can also speak a little bit about CONCACAF, Mexico winning 3-0 in the first game of the

03:02Vasco Aguirre era and then tying with Canada 0-0 on a game that has a lot of promising.

03:09Alain Mosso coming back to the national team after five years.

03:12Malagón with a spectacular save.

03:14Are you confident that Mexico has what it takes to be a good host in the next World Cup?

03:19I think the issue is not if I am confident.

03:22The issue is if the fans are confident.

03:24We saw two lackluster attendances.

03:27First at the Rose Bowl where I've called many Mexico games and I've seen it packed all the

03:32way to the top.

03:33And also Arlington Stadium, Cowboys Stadium, one of the most majestic and spectacular stadiums

03:39around the U.S., around the world.

03:41It looks sad, but it is what it is.

03:44Also the U.S.

03:45Listen to Canada as well.

03:46It seems that now Canada is the top team in CONCACAF, at least for now, when you talk

03:51about Alphonso Davies, Jonathan David, Jakob Schaffelberg, et cetera, this team is for real.
