00:00Back inside Doak Campbell today week number three in Tallahassee and less

00:08than a touchdown favorite is FSU against a really quality AAC team in Memphis. How

00:15do you break down the matchup between the Noles and the Tigers? Yeah it's a

00:17tough one and to your point this is where the bye week is beneficial but

00:20what is the identity of Florida State? Last year they wanted to run the

00:23football average around 160 rushing yards per game and work off of play

00:27action with Jordan Travis. They have no offensive identity with DJU. That's a

00:32cause of concern. This line in the offseason guys was 28 and a half in

00:36favor of Florida State. You're seeing it opened at four and a half. They bet it up

00:39to five and a half now. My heart does tell me Florida State but if I'm not

00:43betting this game but Seth Hunnigan is the better quarterback and the more

00:47consistent offense heading into this matchup. I did pick Memphis to make the

00:51college football playoff as the best group of five. I just think they're more

00:55balanced. Don't be shocked if they hand right now Florida State their third loss.

01:00Again they're just more consistent and they're playing without money.

01:03Again if I had to bet it I would take the points I think but it's a tricky one.

01:07As I calm down just look some advice if Freeman and Norvell lose today they

01:13can go join Connor Stallion's staff and maybe they can figure it on the high

01:15school end of it. I actually laid the number with Florida State here. I'm not

01:19as in on Memphis this season. I think there's enough defensive turnover from

01:22them year over year where FSU should be able to move the football and this is

01:26where I'm actually betting on Mike Norvell. Again with Freeman there

01:29are spots you bet Marcus Freeman like when he's a dog and with Norvell there

01:32are spots where you bet him like when he's coming off of a bye. Three straight

01:35years he's got the job absolutely done coming off of a bye. No team needed a bye

01:39week more than Florida State. Again they did a scheduling malpractice.

01:42Not go to Dublin and play a conference game and then you do not

01:44return from Dublin and play another conference game. They're scheduling

01:48malpractice. I'm not saying I predicted them to be 0-2. I'm not stunned

01:51that they would have lost one of those games. This is a get-right spot for

01:54Florida State against the Memphis team that I'm relatively not as high on. Under

01:58a touchdown I had it back to Seminoles. It is really interesting when you look

02:01at Memphis. A team that won 10 games last year in the fourth year with Ryan

02:05Silverfield. A program in general that has won at least seven games eight of

02:09the last nine full college football seasons. Double-digit wins in four of

02:14those eight years. Memphis last year 11 times over in 13 games. A defense that

02:20has allowed at least 27 points per game in each of the last three seasons. Can

02:25DJU and this Florida State rushing attack take advantage against a Tigers

02:30defense that has not been great. It's a low total at 52 and a half. Memphis one

02:35of nine teams around the country to play 60% of their games to the over in the

02:40last three seasons.
