Former Super Bowl winning head coach Brian Billick joined the K&C Masterpiece to talk about this upcoming matchup between the Cowboys and the Ravens, if the team will be able to stop Ravens RB Derrick Henry, and more.

00:00The, the, the saints there, uh, with Clint, with Clint Kubiak, that, that, uh, that running

00:21scheme, uh, the zone blocking scheme, the outside zone insides on the way they ran it,

00:26they ran it to perfection against the Cowboys and Cowboys didn't look like they had many

00:30answers at all to stop that run.

00:32And then this is a very good Baltimore running team, but how, how are they different?

00:37And where, where do you think that lines up for the Cowboys?

00:41Well first let's talk about New Orleans and just how good, you know, this New Orleans

00:46team, what it's done the last two weeks.

00:49And you can qualify by saying, well, it was that Carolina, but, but Carolina's division

00:53rivals for them.

00:54So that you got to qualify that a little bit.

00:57Um, the fact that it was on the road against Dallas to score on the first six possessions,

01:03uh, they scored on every position in the first half last week against Carolina.

01:09This offense is, is really stacking up to be something spectacular.

01:13I mean, Derek Carr had over 240 yards thrown on 16 attempts and they ran the ball, like

01:18you said, brilliantly.

01:20And again, Kubiak with the influence of his dad and going back to the Shanahan days, I've

01:24got the zone and Alvin Kamara is absolutely brilliant.

01:28Uh, you know, it takes a certain type of runner to maximize that, that zone scheme.

01:35Uh, and Calvin Kamara is absolutely brilliant on with it.

01:38Um, I don't think, and then taking, you know, yeah, Dallas struggled and yeah, they're going

01:42to have to address that and they're going to get another challenge, different challenge

01:45because obviously with, with, uh, Baltimore, it's all about Derek Henry up the middle,

01:50a lot of counters.

01:52And then obviously the biggest threat is Lamar Jackson then pulls it out and goes out around

01:56the edge.

01:57So it's, it's a totally different challenge in terms of how you need to scheme it.

02:00You better put eight people in the box.

02:02Uh, you better make sure that you keep Lamar in the pocket cause that's the thing that's

02:07going to get you beat.

02:08Uh, and a totally different challenge in the running game than what they saw against New

02:12Orleans.
