00:00The proposed 2025 budget of the Department of Social Welfare and Development or DSWD for the

00:06next is seven percent lower compared to the current year. During the hearing held by the

00:12Senate Finance Subcommittee, the DSWD presented its proposed 2025 budget worth over 229 billion

00:20pesos. This includes funding for attached and supervised agencies. The DSWD also detailed the

00:28allocation of funds for various programs including the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino

00:33Program or 4Ps, Social Pension for Indigenous Senior Citizens, Supplementary Feeding Program,

00:41Disaster Response and Rehabilitation Program, Quick Response Fund, among others. Meanwhile,

00:47the Senate assured the funds allotted to the DSWD for assisting the vulnerable sector in partnership

00:53with other government agencies will be analyzed and used properly.
