00:30The moment has finally arrived and we get to share with you our new Maserati GranCabrio

00:40Fogra.

00:44This car truly represents what Maserati stands for.

00:48To allow you to go the long distance in style and comfort paired with incredible performance.

00:54Now performance in this case of course is electric.

00:58But just like our combustion cars, look at the proportion, incredible, what our engineers

01:03and Modena have achieved.

01:04And the way they did this is to go the unbeaten path, to put the batteries into the central

01:10spine of the car.

01:11That allows us to keep the seats low and therefore the proportion is great and most importantly

01:16keeps the weight inside the car and that allows you to have fantastic performance on track.

01:24Now talking about track, as you know we are in Formula E and in this case we were able

01:29to use all the knowledge, all the software development from our Formula E team in this

01:33particular product allowing us to move the horsepower where it's needed.

01:39Now look at the car on the exterior, these proportions really pay off because you still

01:44have this classic Maserati Italian design based on this idea of GranTurismo which comes

01:50back all the way 75 years ago when we were building our first road cars.

01:54You had this central fuselage from the race cars and then you had to cover the wheels,

01:59add lights to make the cars road-leading.

02:03You can still see it today in the volumes of the GranCabrio with this beautiful central

02:07fuselage starting from the grille and then those beautiful sculpted wheel houses that

02:13incorporate the headlights.

02:15Now these surface deltas, these beautiful amazing surfaces allow us to deliver a beautiful

02:21timeless Italian design to you, hand sculpted by some of the best sculptors in the business

02:26and for me they're always, I consider them always the descendants of Michelangelo.

02:32The Trident, as always, is the face of the car because the Trident for us is not just

02:38the logo, it's the weapon of a mythical god.

02:43But when you actually see Nettuno in Bologna at the fountain where we took the inspiration,

02:48you see that the Trident is not a weapon that attacks you but it's a sign of confidence.

02:53And that's why it's the right logo to adorn also the Maserati GranCabrio.

03:03When the GranCabrio has its roof open, you have an incredible view of the interior.

03:12Just look at it.

03:14And with the Foggera we were able to really push the envelope.

03:17Yes, you can enjoy finest leathers and final accent materials, but in this case we also

03:23allow you to enjoy new material for the first time in an automobile.

03:27You might know it from the luxury industry, you might know it from the luxury car industry,

03:31you might know it from the luxury car industry.

03:34But in this case we also allow you to enjoy new material for the first time in an automobile.

03:39You might know it from the luxury industry already, it's called Econel.

03:43Econel is a recycled nylon and when you recycle nylon you really get this beautiful silky

03:48material that's so soft to your hand.

03:51And then to come up with an incredible pattern we really wanted to reflect this transition

03:56from combustion to electrification, having this kind of metamorphosis pattern that is

04:03laser etched into this fabric.

04:06And then just like on the Gran Turismo you get cutting edge technology with large screens

04:11that allow you to adjust the driving experience to your liking, but never in a way where the

04:17screens are overpowering you, because at the end of the day our car is all about hands

04:22on the wheels, eyes on the road and enjoying the drive.

04:25And to truly enjoy the drive we also inserted an incredible sound system from our partners

04:31at Sonos Faber.

04:32So in total this is really our new flagship and in true Maserati fashion it combines our

04:39legacy, our past, but it fully embraces the future with cutting edge innovation.
