00:00Hey guys, we are here. We're getting right to it, right? We have Walton Goggins with us. How are you?
00:05Fantastic. Thank you so much for asking. It is so good to see you. You look cool, calm, and collected. Cool, calm, and collected.
00:10Very grateful. You know, I don't believe that there are any winners or any losers, right?
00:14We all get to make our living as an artist and I'm just here to celebrate all of this talent and tell them how much I think of them.
00:21Well, can we talk about you?
00:23Yeah, you are worth celebrating because obviously you are nominated for lead actor for Fallout.
00:29What does it feel like to be nominated and be among those that we're celebrating tonight?
00:33You know, some of the people in this category are my biggest heroes.
00:37I mean, Gary Oldman, and Donald, and Hiroyuki Sanada, and Dominic West is an old friend of mine.
00:44And so just to kind of be counted among them, you know, is extraordinary.
00:48I was in Thailand when this was announced and so I didn't really understand kind of the
00:52critical mass that was kind of building behind this show until I got back to America.
00:56And then I thought, how, this is all flowers. It's all really lucky, you know.
01:01I've been doing this a really long time and to be here at this stage of my life, it feels really special.
01:06So, so talented. When you look back over your work on this show, what was a moment where you were like, I did my thing.
01:13That's a good, that's a good one.
01:16You ready for this?
01:17Yeah.
01:18Day two, after I got through day one of
01:21I thought, okay, if I can make it through the first day, you know, I got this.
01:27For those that aren't familiar, let's go walk through what that looks like, what that process was like for you.
01:34When we initially put the prosthetics on, it was about five and a half hours.
01:38And we got it down to two and a half hours right before we started filming.
01:42On the very first day, it was the first day that I had all of the makeup on and the costume on.
01:47And the last thing I didn't anticipate was the things that went in my mouth.
01:50I couldn't really speak.
01:52And it just so happened to be 106 degrees in New York, the heat index that day.
01:56And I literally sat down on a rock and said, I don't know that I could do this.
01:59I think I'm too old. I don't think I'm going to be able to do it.
02:02But we did and I'm very, very grateful for the experience.

02:23Oh, God, you know, I haven't seen Gary in a long time.
02:26So I'm really excited to see him.
02:28Dominic West is an old friend of mine.
02:30We did Tomb Raider together.
02:31It was written by Geneva DeWart Robertson, who wrote Fallout.
02:35And so I'm excited about seeing him and Jodie Foster.
02:39Are you kidding me?
02:40You know, excited to see her.
02:42So many people, really.
02:44The guys from Baby Reindeer.
02:46Oh, yeah.
02:47There's so many people.
02:48So I'm just going to kind of float and shake as many hands and have the biggest smile in this room.
02:53We're talking about star studded opportunities.
02:56White Lotus.
02:57Yeah.
02:58How excited are you about all of that?
03:00And what are you most excited about with all of that?
03:03Really for everybody to see what Mike White wrote, you know, and the stories that he crafted.
03:09I mean, nobody writes an existential problem like Mike does.
03:12I've only been back for six weeks.
03:14And most of us have only been back like five weeks or a month.
03:19And we're all still unpacking it.
03:21I had to go straight to work on this other thing that I do in Charleston, South Carolina.
03:25But it was one of the greatest experiences of my life.
03:29Well, we definitely can't wait to see it.
03:31And congratulations.
