On September 7th, crowds gathered at Wisma Tun Sambandan in Kuala Lumpur to witness Jay's

Odyssey Music perform an astonishing 318 songs in a single day.

A total of 200 performers, primarily students of the music school, made their way from all

over the Klang Valley and other states, as well as Singapore, to take the stage.

While most of them were of Indian heritage, that didn't stop them from enthusiastically

performing songs in Malay, Chinese, English, Korean and Russian in addition to Tamil, Telugu,

Hindi and Malayalam songs.

They either sang or played instruments such as the keyboard, guitar, vena, violin, recorder,

harmonium and pianica.

The 318 performances, which included 13 Malaysian state anthems, were chosen to mark the date

Patriotic songs such as Saya Anak Malaysia and Tanggal 31 were also performed.

With this feat, Jay's Odyssey Music stamped its name in the Lincoln Book of Records and

received an award for being the first in the world to perform 318 songs in multiple

16-year-old Sri Santana Lakshmi Sivasubramaniam beautifully sang a Mandarin song titled Tian
