At least 13 children of the 402 rescued in police raids on 20 Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings (GISB)-linked care centres may have been sexually assaulted, even as wellbeing checks continue on the other 392 children.  Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said initially police discovered that only four victims were believed to have been sodomised. 00:00So far, this health screening has been carried out on 172 victims of 130 men and 42 women.

00:12From this analysis, we can see that the victims have new and old symptoms of injury,

00:21as well as their physical and mental emotions.

00:26As such, there is no need to carry out further assessments in terms of mental health

00:32and also on top of the aforementioned victims, mental, physical, and also growth.

00:42Okay, from the beginning, from two days of the month, from the report in Negeri Sembilan and Serango,

00:48we have found that there are four victims.

00:52We have classified the case as Section 14, the Children's Sexual Offences Act, 2007.

01:04From there, when we did the interview, we found that there are nine more victims.

01:09So, all of them are 13.
