Storm chasers in place to track the effects of Francine as it strikes Louisiana

00:00Tropical cyclone Francine is expected to make landfall on the Louisiana coast

00:05Wednesday afternoon. Hurricane warnings are in place, storm surge warnings are in

00:10place, and residents along the Louisiana coast are making preparations getting

00:15food and water and ice, gassing up vehicles and filling up gas tanks for

00:19generators, and ensuring that batteries are charged and cell phones are charged

00:24as we are expecting hurricane-force winds and knockout power in the path of the

00:29hurricane. Additionally, there will be problems with storm surge and flash

00:33flooding from the torrential rains that fall around the hurricane. I will be
