00:00As-salamu alaikum, dear viewers, from Sheikh Zaid Islamic Center, Jamia Punjab, Lahore,
00:13on ARYQ TV, in Rabi-ul-Awwal's special transmission, a special program with Islam and young people,
00:21Dr. Muhammad Tahir Mustafa is present at your service.
00:25Dear viewers, the lifestyle that the religion of Islam has given us,
00:32it is not only related to faith or worship.
00:38Rather, in this lifestyle, there are also the principles of good society,
00:44there are also the principles of economy, there are also the rules of marriage and divorce,
00:49there are also the principles of giving and taking.
00:52Dear viewers, if we take only the good society,
00:57then this is the basic principle of the religion of Islam,
01:02that no person living in the Islamic state should be harmed.
01:10Irrespective of which religion he belongs to,
01:15which tribe he belongs to, which nation he belongs to,
01:19which family he belongs to, what is his status?
01:23Is he the leader of the country or is he a common worker and farmer?
01:28There is equality in respect.
01:31All people are equal in respect.
01:34It is Surah Bani Israel that we have given respect to man.
01:40Dear viewers, today in the program Islam and young people,
01:44our topic is that what were the qualities of the society established by the Prophet?
01:52And how far are we from them?
01:54Dear viewers, to talk about this,
01:57the person who is sitting next to me today,
02:02Dr. Syed Ahmed Saeedi,
02:05how beautifully he talks, you see him on KOTV,
02:10listen to him, benefit from him,
02:13and you are aware of his accent,
02:16that he is so literate,
02:19and what is his name?
02:21Saeed and Saeedi,
02:23he is Saeed,
02:24and do you know the meaning of Saeedi?
02:26My Saeed.
02:27So dear viewers, Dr. Syed Ahmed Saeedi,
02:31the qualities of the society established by the Prophet,
02:37the program Islam and young people,
02:39are going to present to us.
02:41Listen to him carefully.
02:43Dr. Syed Ahmed Saeedi.
02:44In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
02:46Thank you very much, doctor.
02:48You have presented a very lively intro.
02:52Before looking at the qualities of the society established by the Prophet,
03:01we have to see what is a good society and what are its qualities.
03:08Ibn Khaldun, who is an expert of the society,
03:12says that for a good society,
03:16there are some conditions for progress.
03:20One of them is a sound nature.
03:23Such a system should be brought,
03:26that no one's nature should be bad.
03:29The nature should be sound.
03:31And this is the first condition,
03:33then the society can progress.
03:35Secondly, Ibn Khaldun, who is an expert of the society,
03:40says that knowledge is the second stage for progress.
03:45After knowledge, the understanding of that knowledge,
03:49or contemplation, is the third stage.
03:54And after that, the fourth stage is fear of God.
03:57Fear of God is at the fourth stage.
04:00When the nature is sound,
04:02it will be inclined towards Islam,
04:04it will accept the truth,
04:06good things will be found.
04:08This is why there is a Hadith of the Prophet,
04:10Khiyarukum fil Jahiliya, Khiyarukum fil Islam.
04:15Those who were good in Jahiliyat,
04:17are also good in Islam.
04:19So for a good society,
04:21there is one Ibn Khaldun,
04:24who is an expert of the society,
04:26who I have mentioned.
04:28Shah Waliullah has also mentioned some things.
04:31For example, he says,
04:32there is purity,
04:33there is Ikhbaat,
04:34one has to follow the order of the order,
04:36then there is Samahat.
04:38Samahat means,
04:40the kindness of the soul,
04:42and the fourth stage is justice.
04:45So these are the conditions of a good society.
04:48Now we see,
04:49the society established by the Prophet,
04:53what were the distinguishing qualities of that society?
04:56The first thing is,
04:57it was a society based on knowledge.
05:00Islam is a movement based on knowledge.
05:02It started with Iqra.
05:05Iqra, in the name of the Lord who created.
05:07The first revelation started with Iqra.
05:10And this is the Islam which says,
05:16O Prophet,
05:18tell me,
05:19can those who have knowledge,
05:20and those who do not have knowledge,
05:21be equal?
05:23So much so that in different battles,
05:25when the Prophet,
05:27when the martyrs were being buried,
05:31those people were given the first chance,
05:35or their bodies were kept first,
05:38those who had more knowledge of the Quran.
05:41So there is so much excellence of knowledge,
05:43and there were two circles.
05:45The Prophet came,
05:47in the Masjid-e-Nabwi Sharif,
05:48there was a circle of Zikr,
05:50and there was a circle of knowledge.
05:52The Prophet liked the circle of knowledge.
05:54And this was also seen.
05:56It is a very important thing.
05:58And it is a very beautiful thing.
06:00When the prisoners were brought on the Battle of Badr,
06:02their ransom was 2000 to 4000 dirhams.
06:06And this was a very large amount of money at that time.
06:09But the Prophet said,
06:11Those of you who know how to write and read,
06:14teach our children how to read and write.
06:17Their ransom is forgiven.
06:20This shows that the Prophet,
06:23who had established a society,
06:25his first foundation was knowledge.
06:28And for this reason,
06:30the Prophet had nine large mosques.
06:34Two of them were residential.
06:37And the Prophet himself used to supervise everyone.
06:42If we want to move forward,
06:44then we have to move forward through knowledge,
06:47through logic,
06:50otherwise we will be left behind.
06:54This is the way.
06:55The second characteristic of the Prophet's society
06:58is the respect for humanity.
07:00To which Dr. Sahib pointed out,
07:02respect for humanity,
07:04from any religion,
07:06from any point of view,
07:08a person has a connection.
07:10As a human being, he is respected.
07:13He is a servant of Allah.
07:15And secondly, if he is a Muslim,
07:17then he is a follower of the Messenger of Allah.
07:19With both references, he is respectable.
07:22This is the reason.
07:23A funeral was held in front of the Prophet.
07:26He stood up for it with respect.
07:29A Siyabi said,
07:32Master, the one who died was a Jew.
07:35He said,
07:37Was he not a human being?
07:39So respect for humanity is a fundamental thing.
07:43And the society established by the Prophet,
07:47whether it was the battle of Mecca,
07:50or the tests of Madani life,
07:56in both cases,
07:58the Prophet's disciplined men
08:01did not use abusive language.
08:03When the oppression increased,
08:05it increased in the sounds.
08:08So this should be kept in mind,
08:10respect for humanity.
08:12And today the situation has reached here.
08:15The jurist of the city,
08:16your Qajravi,
08:18gives the excuse of abuse from Hadith-e-Paq.
08:21We will have to go back to good morals.
08:24And we will have to respect humanity.
08:27Then we can move forward.
08:28Then the society established by the Prophet,
08:32one of its characteristics was dialogue.
08:36You can call it dialogue between religions.
08:39At that time, obviously, there were polytheists.
08:41The hypocrites came to Madinah.
08:42The Jews came.
08:43Dialogue continued.
08:45At any stage,
08:46the Prophet did not take extreme steps.
08:49And this is a very important aspect
08:52that we have to pay attention to.
08:54He always tried to solve the problems
08:56through dialogue.
08:58And there were many benefits of it.
09:00Dialogue was held at many places.
09:02Misaq-e-Madinah came in the form of dialogue.
09:05Sulah-e-Hudaibiyah was a dialogue.
09:08And there were many other occasions
09:10where there was a dialogue,
09:12and the solution of the problem was found.
09:14The solution to the problems of humans
09:16will always come out in the form of dialogue.
09:18Rahat Sahradi said,
09:20It was better to listen than to fight.
09:23Would you have seen if you had talked to me?
09:26So all matters are solved through dialogue.
09:28And the Prophet
09:30solved the problem through dialogue.
09:35Similarly,
09:36the society established by the Prophet,
09:39two things were very important in it.
09:41One is dhikr and the other is fikr.
09:43That is, a society that is dedicated to the remembrance of Allah.
09:46There are such men of Allah,
09:53who can neither be heedless of the remembrance of Allah,
09:57nor can they be blinded by the remembrance of Allah
10:00due to buying and selling.
10:02They are always in the remembrance of Allah.
10:06This is dhikr.
10:07And fikr with dhikr.
10:09This is also an important aspect.
10:11In the Holy Qur'an,
10:13Allah said,
10:15There are signs in the creation of the heavens and the earth,
10:18day and night,
10:20for those who are wise.
10:22There are signs in the creation of the heavens and the earth,
10:25day and night,
10:27for those who are wise.
10:29Now who is wise?
10:31This is a very important question.
10:33One is that I say,
10:35I am wise.
10:37You say, you are wise.
10:39Someone else says, he is wise.
10:41According to Allah, what is the standard of being wise?
10:44It is not Salah, fasting, Hajj, Zakat.
10:46Listen.
10:47The first condition of being wise is,
10:49Those who are standing, sitting or lying,
10:57are not heedless of the remembrance of Allah.
10:59The second condition,
11:01and the second attribute of being wise is,
11:04They do not think about the creation of the heavens and the earth.
11:07Just as they are not heedless of the remembrance of Allah,
11:11similarly, they are not heedless of thinking about the creation of the universe.
11:16Just doing dhikr,
11:18this is not Islam.
11:20Doing dhikr in the creation of the universe,
11:22reaching the heights,
11:24this is also a requirement of Islam.
11:26And what is the third requirement?
11:29Allah does not create falsehood.
11:31They reach this conclusion by doing dhikr and thinking,
11:35that in this world,
11:37whoever Allah has given existence to,
11:39he must have some benefit.
11:41There must be some wisdom in it.
11:43A person leaves the state of dying.
11:46And the fourth,
11:50In every situation, they are afraid of Allah,
11:52that for some reason,
11:54they will not fall prey to Allah's displeasure.
11:56So these are the attributes of being wise.
11:58So in this,
11:59dhikr and thinking,
12:01both are together.
12:02Allah had said,
12:04This wisdom of being wise,
12:06this knowledge of Allah,
12:08if it is not the remedy for the pain of the Haram,
12:10then it is nothing.
12:11This dhikr of sleeping,
12:13this contemplation,
12:14this pleasure,
12:15if it is not for the sake of your own self,
12:17then it is nothing.
12:18Even if Khairat had said,
12:20if there is no God, then what is there to gain?
12:22If the heart and the eyes are not Muslim,
12:24then it is nothing.
12:25And the last,
12:26although there are many attributes,
12:28but in this program,
12:30I will mention the last attribute.
12:32This society,
12:34was based on respect for the Prophet.
12:36Respect for the Prophet.
12:38Allama Iqbal said a very interesting thing.
12:40Allama Iqbal said,
12:42The whole universe is around you.
12:44The respect of the whole universe,
12:46the Prophet,
12:48is around you.
12:50I am also hopeful of your kindness.
12:56Why?
12:57Because for a believer,
12:59dhikr, thinking, knowledge,
13:01is around you.
13:02The boat and the river,
13:03are around you.
13:04Everything is the being of the Prophet.
13:06The man of a believer,
13:07is Muhammad Ibtidast.
13:09The man of a believer,
13:10is Muhammad Intihast.
13:11Allama Iqbal said,
13:13So for a believer,
13:14Ibtidast and Intihast,
13:15is the being of the Prophet.
13:17And Allama Iqbal said,
13:19If the respect for the Prophet is still there,
13:21the respect for the universe is still there.
13:24Therefore,
13:26in reference to the respect of the Prophet,
13:28Allah has specifically mentioned two things.
13:31One is,
13:33Allah said,
13:34My beloved,
13:35do not even call on that word,
13:37which has the meaning of illiteracy.
13:44You are educated people.
13:46You are aware of this.
13:47Why was it commanded to say unzurna?
13:50As far as the illiteracy is concerned,
13:52the use of that word,
13:54was also forbidden.
13:56And on the other hand,
13:57in Surah Al-Hujurat, Allah said,
13:59O you who believe,
14:02do not raise your voices against the Prophet.
14:05The voice should not be raised,
14:07against the voice of my beloved.
14:10And do not call on him with a loud voice.
14:13If you do this,
14:14all your deeds will be in vain.
14:16And you will not even know.
14:18Khwaja Ghulam Fakhruddin Sialvi said,
14:21In the aspect of Bab-e-Jibreel,
14:24While saying Fakhr,
14:26Jibreel was found to be like this.
14:28To knock on the door of his beloved,
14:30with his own eyes,
14:31was a loud voice.
14:33He was shamed of his age.
14:35Thank you very much.
14:36In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful.
14:38My name is Ihsan Mahmood.
14:41And I am a student of the Institute of Islamic Studies,
14:46in the fifth semester.
14:50Sir, my question is that,
14:52What is the reason that,
14:54the great NGOs and organizations of human rights,
14:57have been established?
14:59But,
15:00Why is the best of humanity,
15:02the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him?
15:06Yes, thank you very much.
15:08It is a very good question.
15:10Someone very beautifully said,
15:12What was not solved by the philosophers,
15:14what could not be solved by the point and the soul,
15:16that secret,
15:17was revealed by a lotus flower,
15:19in a few words.
15:20The system that the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, gave,
15:23if you go deep into that system,
15:27then at that time,
15:29I will point out three or four aspects to them.
15:33One was that,
15:35the woman was totally oppressed.
15:38And she was considered as a source of weakness,
15:41or a cause of weakness.
15:44On the other hand, there were slaves.
15:46And the condition of the slaves was such that,
15:48they did not even have rights like animals.
15:51Thirdly, you see,
15:53she was a murderer.
15:55And she was an orphan.
15:57She was arrogant.
15:58Keep these three aspects in view,
16:00then it will be easier for us to understand the answer.
16:03The first thing,
16:04what did the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, do?
16:07That, as a mother,
16:09as a daughter,
16:11as a wife,
16:13as a sister,
16:15she gave respect to all the relations.
16:18Regarding the mother,
16:20Hazrat Haleema Sadi,
16:22you can lay a sheet for her,
16:24she is his sister, Hazrat Haleema,
16:25you can lay a sheet for her.
16:26As for the daughter,
16:27Hazrat Fatima Zahra, peace be upon her,
16:30the love that the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, had for her,
16:33our parents are sacrificed,
16:35there is no example of that.
16:37And then,
16:38the wife, you see,
16:40Hazrat Khadijatul Kubra,
16:41Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqa,
16:43and other Ummahatul Momineen.
16:45It is a strange relation,
16:47from which it is known,
16:49what is the status and rank of a woman.
16:51Then, apart from this,
16:53the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him,
16:55in wars,
16:56the rules that were given,
16:58one of them was,
17:00not to raise a hand on a woman,
17:02not to kill her.
17:04It was forbidden,
17:05with other rules.
17:06So, the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, raised this class,
17:09and it had its effects.
17:11After that,
17:12the second class was of slaves.
17:14The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him,
17:16gave a system,
17:17and through that system,
17:19as soon as he saw,
17:21the slaves,
17:22they became the teachers of the kings,
17:25and the princes.
17:27And a time came,
17:29in the era of Banu Abbas,
17:30when the Sultan asked,
17:32who is the greatest scholar of the Qur'an,
17:34he was told,
17:35he was a slave.
17:36Then, the second was asked,
17:37he was also a slave.
17:38The third was asked,
17:39he was also a slave.
17:40Assume,
17:41this was raised by Islam.
17:43And the third class,
17:44which I was talking about,
17:46was of orphans.
17:47This was the third aspect.
17:48It was arrogance.
17:49So, the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him,
17:51gave an example of humility and humility,
17:54that you sit on the ground,
17:56and sit with the slaves.
17:58And you are telling a person like Salman,
18:01that Salman is also a part of my family.
18:03Sometimes, you are ordering Bilal,
18:05to stand on the roof of the Ka'bah,
18:06and give the call to prayer.
18:08Sometimes,
18:09if you see other Companions,
18:11the expression of love with them,
18:13and the humility with them,
18:15and the forgiveness with them,
18:17you made it your slogan.
18:18So, these big problems,
18:20were solved by themselves.
18:22Peace be upon you.
18:23My name is Quratulain.
18:24I am a student of Sheikh Zaid Islamic Centre,
18:27Jamia Punjab,
18:28B.S. 7th semester.
18:29My question is,
18:30in the light of Seerat-e-Tayyiba,
18:32what is the concept of success and progress?
18:36Look,
18:37it is a good question.
18:39It is a very good question.
18:40If we look at it in the context of our country,
18:42then I would like to point out just one aspect.
18:45Right now,
18:46our society has become negative.
18:50Negativity has spread a lot.
18:53So, when negativity spreads,
18:55then it is necessary,
18:56to take those things,
18:59which are necessary for us.
19:01The first thing is,
19:02that whatever Allah has created,
19:04there must be some goodness in it.
19:06There must be some wisdom in its existence.
19:08Allah has given it life.
19:10We should keep this aspect in mind.
19:12The second aspect is,
19:13that we should keep in mind,
19:14the Sunnat-e-Mubaraka of the Prophet,
19:16that he always used to praise good things,
19:20which you can call,
19:21Tahseen-e-Nawazi.
19:23Our case is the opposite.
19:24If we see goodness in someone,
19:26then we are more afraid of ignorance.
19:29Ignorance becomes a test for a person.
19:32Fearful people are found in the society,
19:35who are more afraid of their abilities.
19:37There is no doubt in this.
19:39Aatish-e-Rashq-o-Hasad-se-Sangh-bi-Khali-Nahi
19:42Deed-Musa-Ko-Ubi-y-Tur-Jal-Ke-Rah-Gaya
19:45There is jealousy.
19:46But if the whole society becomes negative,
19:49then we don't understand this.
19:51So, the solution to this is,
19:53that we should praise the goodness in someone,
19:56so that we can go up with courage.
19:59I have a friend,
20:00he has a very big NGO,
20:02NGO International.
20:03He said,
20:04I have travelled the whole world.
20:06I have never seen a country more beautiful than Pakistan,
20:09and a nation more beautiful than Pakistanis.
20:13The benefactor of this nation will be the one,
20:16who will take it out of despair,
20:18depression,
20:19criticism,
20:20negativity.
20:21So, do your part.
20:23That complaint of darkness and darkness was better somewhere.
20:27Light a candle for your part.
20:29Be courageous,
20:30and you will go ahead,
20:32and the country will go ahead.
20:33Assalam-o-Alaikum,
20:34My name is Iqtisam Ahmed,
20:35and I am a student of B.S. 5th semester.
20:38My question is,
20:39in light of your biography,
20:41how is Jihad different from terrorism?
20:44This is a very important question,
20:46and because of Jihad,
20:47many accusations are put on Muslims.
20:50But I will tell you a simple thing.
20:52From the blessed life of the Prophet,
20:56out of the 63 years,
20:58and if we take out the 23 years of Prophethood,
21:02then out of that,
21:03he participated in wars for only 30 days.
21:07The rest of his life is based on peace.
21:10So, this is a very important aspect,
21:12which needs to be paid attention to.
21:14And most of the wars are those,
21:16which were imposed on the Prophet.
21:19That is, the disbelievers kept attacking one another,
21:22whether it is Badr,
21:23or Uhud,
21:24or Khandaq.
21:25Or Khaybar.
21:26All these matters are in front of you.
21:29So that is why the Prophet,
21:31there is no doubt about it,
21:33is the best commander,
21:35but along with him,
21:36he is the best benefactor of humanity.
21:39And for the Day of Judgment,
21:41the universe will keep looking at the Prophet.
21:45And from there,
21:46it will be able to get guidance.
