00:13I've observed from the various topics for discussions, it is an impressive foray.

00:23You are dealing with issues like transformative change, the issue of governance and policies,

00:30issue of digital, AI, issue of energy, transformation or transition,

00:40and more importantly, what is considered as the new economy, new direction for our country, the region and the world.

00:51I believe that delegates representing many countries welcome them to Malaysia

00:58and it is also pertinent to get our policy makers, bureaucrats, business community

01:08to also closely follow the deliberations of the conference

01:12because I see that these issues raised, topics for discussion seem to be very relevant

01:21to navigate our country in the new direction, new policies.

01:27This is to cross-pollinate ideas.

01:30We share views, facilitate cooperation to foster stronger business relations

01:39between conglomerates, companies here and internationally, whether they are big, medium or small.

01:47Now under the Madani Economic Framework, I can assure you that we will continue to prioritise

01:54the enhancement of our economic landscape.

01:58You advise us, we have of course crafted policies, but you advise us what else needs to be done.

02:08To foster an environment that is conducive to investment and to innovation.

02:17We are not here to suggest that it is a perfect system and policies.

02:23We are here to govern and to learn and make the necessary adjustments

02:29because the fundamentals remain economic advancement.

02:34Only through economic success can you ensure better housing, better education,

02:42better health, better infrastructure for our people.

02:46And this is what we mean by inclusivity.

02:50A policy that helps to promote the growth of the economy,

02:56but a policy that is clearly concerned and caters for the welfare of the people.
