00:09how much MLB breakdowns Donny Rightside has left in the tank down the home stretch of

00:15this regular season in September.

00:18How you feeling about the MLB slate on this Monday?

00:21Nine-game slate, DRS.

00:22Are we going to get some bets down, or are we focusing on Monday Night Football?

00:26I gotta tell you, working on some, I guess, point of interest for a little bit later tonight.

00:43The New York Mets should also be having a lot of confidence at this moment.

00:48They had their win streak snapped yesterday by the Reds, but the Mets still one of the

00:52hottest teams in baseball over the past two and a half weeks.

00:56They hope to keep the winning ways afloat up in Canada against the Blue Jays.

01:01They are a slight road favorite, minus 116 on the money line, total of eight and a half.

01:06Of course, New York and Atlanta enter this week.

01:09Less than 20 games remain for all 30 clubs around the bigs, tied for the final spot in

01:15the National League wildcard chase.

01:18Will the Mets rack up another victory today in the six?

01:21They should rack up another victory, but you know what else is going to get racked up?

01:24Runs in this game.

01:25In the second half, I'm already going to be rooting for that over.

01:28You take a look at the offense tonight, going up against Paul Blackburn, expected to be

01:31the starter of the New York Mets.

01:32He struggled.

01:33His last 58 batters that he's faced over the past 30 days, a 226 ISO power number against

01:38and a weighted on base percentage of 437.

01:41If you take into just totality of the season against right-handed batters, whom he's faced

01:45157 times, an ISO of 234 and a weighted on base percentage of 389.

01:50Let's just look at that lineup we anticipate tonight for the Blue Jays.

01:54If we go just about right-handed pitching over the past month and we remove Alejandro

01:58Kirk, the catcher, who's a right-handed batter.

02:01Every single one of those batters, Ben, above average ISO, above average weighted on base

02:05percentages.

02:06Now let's flip it over to the New York Mets going up against Chris Bassett.

02:09Not a great pitcher by any stretch.

02:10He has been very, very good though against right-handed batters, both the last 30 days,

02:14Ben, and for the full season.

02:16If we do line up him just against left-handed batters, take a look at this.

02:20His last 55 that he's faced, a 362 ISO and a 531 weighted on base percentage.

02:27So the apple of your eye from the Big Apple, that should be left-handed batters.

02:31Lindor, Nimmo, Winker, they should be there.

02:34But if you said, Donnie, just give me one batter you would take for the Mets here, it's

02:37got to be Francisco Lindor.

02:39Having a sensational season and crushing right-handed pitching.

02:42So I do think we get a total tonight.

02:44Even look at the temperatures up in the sixth tonight, 65 degrees here.

02:47Might even have to close that dome and turn the heat on tonight for the boys.

02:51If there was no show, hey Otani, Frankie Francisco Lindor might win the National League MVP award,

02:58but Otani is there.

03:01This road trip to Toronto, followed by a day off and a road trip this weekend to Philadelphia.

03:07It's seven games against the Philz with a Nats series smashed in between before a road

03:13trip two weeks from tomorrow starts in Atlanta.

03:23That is the question here for our next game up, up in the Bronx between the Yankees and

03:29the Royals.

03:30KC, snapping the seven game skin, now have won four straight games.

03:34They swept the Twins this weekend, Kansas City now in the second American League wild

03:38card spot.

03:39The Yankees, a half game lead over Baltimore for the top spot in the American League East.

03:43Eight and a half is the total.

03:45The Yankees, a rather hefty favorite at home today.

03:49Is it too steep of a price?

03:51It is a very steep price here for Carlos Rodon, but if you're saying to yourself, maybe you're

03:54not willing to take the Kansas City Royals, figure they can get a win at Yankee Stadium.

03:57Just focus on some RBI props.

03:59Why is that?

04:00Carlos Rodon has struggled on the season against right-handed batters.

04:03Sometimes lefty pitchers do do that.

04:04Now it hasn't been bad.

04:06On the season itself, 528, how about that, batters he's faced from the right-hand side,

04:10a 211 iso and a 332 weighted on base percentage.

04:13It actually gets slightly better over the past 30 days.

04:16But if you look in the middle of that order for the Royals, that's Bobby Witt, that's

04:19Salvador Perez and Paul de Jong, 276, 481 and 292 respectively with those iso power

04:25numbers.

04:26Look at the weighted on base percentages for those three guys, 432, 444 and 378, one, two

04:32or maybe three of those guys, legitimate opportunities for RBI.

04:36If you take a look at Brady Singer, he's got decent stats, but he does have higher weighted

04:40on base percentages against lefty than he does righties.

04:43So if you're looking at that lineup and saying, Donnie, give me a couple RBI chances for the

04:46Yanks tonight.

04:47It's Soto, it's Wells and it's Chisholm in the middle of that lineup, 72 degrees with

04:51a wind blowing out at Yankee Stadium.

04:53We have some decent RBI chances tonight.

04:55If you don't want to lay the actual side itself, Ben.
