00:17Financial fraud investigator Richard Templeman testified this during a Zoom hearing in the

00:22$6.59 billion lawsuit filed by 1MDB against former Treasury Secretary General Tanshri

00:29Mohamed Irwan Serigar Abdullah and former 1MDB CEO Arul Khanda Khandasamy on Monday.

00:37Based on his investigation, the plaintiff's witness said that by October 25, 2011, 1MDB

00:44had transferred a total of $1.03 billion to Goodstar for the benefit of Lowe.

00:52He added that those funds were transferred through a series of offshore companies and

00:56used for, inter alia, the personal benefit of the co-conspirators and their relatives

01:02and associates.

01:04The purpose of these transactions, Templeman said, was currently unknown.

01:08The hearing continues before Judicial Commissioner Raja Ahmad Mohsanuddin Shah Raja Mohsan.
