Thunderstorms to cause continued travel delays in places like Orlando

Storms led to flight delays of more than an hour and a half in Orlando on Sept. 5, and forecasters say Friday will pose many of the same risks..

00:00Damien, we got trouble here on the map. In fact, at times we've had minor delays. O'Hare we're back

00:04into it again right now. Minor delays at Dallas-Fort Worth. In Orlando, major delays right now and if

00:10we put some numbers on it, we're looking at 105 minutes for the average delay. So about an hour

00:15and 45 minute delays there with thunderstorms. Not good news there into Orlando, so be aware of that.

00:21We have showers and storms around central gulf coast, soaking rain for some. Scattered storms

00:26in Miami. We have rain in Atlanta, Chicago, some showers, Minneapolis, some showers,

00:30so a few different reasons for the issues here. But in the northwest, we look pretty good

00:35for travel. It's just going to be hot out there, as Damien mentioned, some records challenged for

00:38some. We're going to have some areas in the west dealing with a little bit of wind in the
