I'm on the moon. This is the future.
00:03
So cute.
00:05
I got orbs. Here we go.
00:08
Wow, that's crazy.
00:10
Probably the best headset I've used.
00:16
Literally just scrolling through the apps on my phone, but in the air.
00:25
So you can tell that where your eyes go, oh my god, that's crazy.
00:28
It highlights the icons pretty easily.
00:31
Oh, look at that. That's cool.
00:36
Oh, look at that fluidness.
00:38
So that's how you test the responsiveness, right? The latency? Here we go.
00:41
And the finer.
00:43
And then the really fast. Yep, it's good.
00:47
There we go.
00:49
Looks like 3D.
00:51
Immersive, okay.
00:53
Oh, wow.
00:54
Yeah, it's fun.
00:56
I want to reach out and pet the dogs.
00:58
That's so cool.
01:00
Oh, wow. Looks like I'm with that dog right now.
01:03
I feel like I'm not soaring at Epcot.
01:06
I'm in a different world.
01:08
It's like a dream almost, where everything around you is kind of hazy,
01:12
but that memory that you have is still right there.
01:16
It's crystal clear, and yeah, the detail. Wow.
01:19
The individual whiskers you can see, which is pretty good.
01:27
It just doesn't feel as clunky.
01:29
Granted, I'm not a fan of this, the being tethered.
01:33
It's still less wires than we used to have to deal with before.
01:36
If you remember the original headsets, there was just wires everywhere.
01:40
So look at your hands.
01:42
Got it. I got orbs.
01:45
I got orbs. Here we go.
01:51
You know, I like that you don't need a lot of work.
01:54
You know, I like that you don't need a controller,
01:57
but as far as I've played other VR fitness games in,
02:01
it kind of has the same premise, but with just your hands, which is nice.
02:06
Oh, my gosh. Whoa.
02:08
That's crazy.
02:15
Oh, wow.
02:17
I'm on the moon.
02:20
This is crazy.
02:24
Oh, I guess there's the sun.
02:26
Where is it?
02:28
Make sure I don't crash into anything.
02:30
There it is. Cool.
02:32
I could just move around freely. This is really cool.
02:38
Okay, I'm here.
02:40
Yeah, it's a VR space.
02:42
And if I get too close to this, I start seeing what I'm going to collide with.
02:48
Avengers Tower.
02:50
It's like I can do a full 180 side to side.
02:55
Tom's Guide.
02:59
And you do the two hands.
03:07
What?
03:08
This is the future, I think, personally.
03:12
Like, I can literally, like, touch it or...
03:16
Taylor Swift. Love it.
03:18
It's like an oversized keyboard.
03:20
You just want to push and make sure it actually hits what you want.
03:25
Okay. There we go.
03:27
Okay. Scrolling. Okay.
03:29
Whenever you're looking at a specific thing,
03:32
it kind of highlights it.
03:34
And then, of course, tap it. You can see it.
03:38
I think it's very heavy.
03:40
It feels like it's pressing my cheeks down a lot.
03:43
I think if I was sitting watching a movie
03:45
with, like, the proper, like, pillow behind me,
03:47
I wouldn't have a problem with it.
03:49
I also think maybe I just have to tighten it a little bit more.
03:51
I know this thing's on my head, but I don't really feel it.
03:54
Like, I know some people said it feels heavy.
03:56
To me, it doesn't.
03:57
And it's fairly comfortable as well.
03:59
The fact that I didn't realize I've had it on that long
04:01
tells you how comfortable it is.
04:03
I wouldn't do more than an hour on this thing.
04:05
Luckily, you know, I'm not playing games,
04:07
because I know games will probably heat it up a lot faster.
04:09
But would I want to wear this for watching an entire two-hour movie?
04:14
I wouldn't say so.
04:16
I feel like it's also a little bit, definitely heavier.
04:18
I definitely notice this compared to Metal Quest II.
04:21
It just seems a little bit heavier.
04:23
Put it on and write for a bit, and maybe,
04:26
mostly for entertainment, I think,
04:28
is probably, like, its biggest selling point.
04:30
But I'd like to try it out for writing and stuff like that.
04:32
Probably games.
04:34
Definitely watching the Taylor Swift movie, though.
04:36
I think the 3D photo was really fun.
04:39
Like, I would love to just, like, do that with my dog
04:41
if I was away from her for a while.
04:43
I think that's super cool.
04:44
Probably productivity.
04:45
Just the fact that I could probably have a bunch of windows everywhere.
04:48
The thing is, I would still want, like, an actual physical keyboard to write on.
04:51
Obviously, that part I wasn't too impressed by.
04:53
If I had, like, a MacBook Pro in front of me,
04:55
I could just use it as normal, and it'd be pretty seamless.
04:58
But the fact that I'd not really get it to just a single screen.
05:01
I could just have windows everywhere.
05:03
I think the biggest selling point here, you know,
05:05
the full VR experience, you could have that
05:07
pretty much on any VR headset right now.
05:10
where you could have that secondary screen, third screen,
05:14
without actually having physical stuff in front of you.
05:17
Three monitors.
05:18
We're going to come to a desk like this,
05:20
and that's the only thing you'll need.
05:21
You just need your headset.
05:22
No need for a laptop.
05:23
No need for screens.
05:25
No need for a mouse.
05:26
Maybe a keyboard.
05:27
To me, it seems like it's just going to try and replace
05:29
multiple stuff in your daily life.
05:32
I think if I were to invest in something like this,
05:34
I would probably invest in, like, an Apple one.
05:37
But I don't think I would spend the money on that.
05:39
I think at being 22 years old,
05:42
I wouldn't be comfortable spending that much money on this.
05:47
If you're, like, a hardcore tech enthusiast, sure.
05:50
But I wouldn't pay that much money for this.
05:52
This is cool. Don't get me wrong.
05:53
$3,500, a little too much.
05:54
But $2,000, I think that's a little bit more reasonable.
05:58
It's tough. Yes and no.
06:00
I think for the average consumer, probably not.
06:03
But for people that actually like Apple,
06:05
for people who like AR or VR or XR tech, you know?
06:08
$3,500, you know, if I had that money,
06:11
that type of disposable income, then yeah, absolutely.
06:14
But $3,500, that's, you know, it's still not replacing my laptop.
06:20
It's still not replacing my phone.
06:22
If it did that, then it's incentive for me.
06:24
But just to be basically an accessory to those devices I use,
06:28
that's a tough sell.
