00:06This is what the Sultan of Salangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah said in his National

00:15He said any form of criticism or feedback concerning the monarchy should be prudently

00:19communicated through the appropriate channels.

00:23He also called on politicians to refrain from engaging in politics of hate, a trend he noted

00:28is still prevalent despite his frequent appeals for unity.

00:33Sultan Sharafuddin also said differences in terms of race, religion and political beliefs

00:38should not prevent Malaysians from being loyal to the country.

00:42He added that these differences should be harnessed to foster a united, pluralistic

00:46society through programs that bridge divides and eliminate prejudices.
