00:00
Good afternoon to all of us, this is an update on the weather forecast.
00:04
It will continue to be rainy tonight.
00:08
Parts of Palawan will be dry and foggy due to the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.
00:14
But here in Metro Manila, as well as in other parts of our province,
00:18
we still have a chance to be isolated.
00:21
It will be drizzling this afternoon until later tonight
00:25
because of the localized thunderstorms.
00:28
If there are thunderstorms, it will only last for 15 minutes to 2 hours.
00:35
We can monitor the thunderstorm advisories that we release
00:39
on our social media accounts and on our website.
00:43
Meanwhile, we have an update on the cloud cluster that we are monitoring.
00:46
Earlier this afternoon, it was already a low-pressure area.
00:51
The LPA that we mentioned is still outside our area of responsibility.
00:56
But within the next 24 hours, it is possible that it will enter our PAR.
01:00
At the moment, because it is already in the ocean,
01:03
we are not ruling out the possibility that it will become a storm
01:07
and possibly rain in a large part of Visayas and the Southern Luzon area
01:13
in the coming days.
01:14
So we will continue to monitor the update that we release
01:18
on the low-pressure area that we mentioned.
01:22
For our forecast for tomorrow,
01:24
because it is still in the ocean, the southern part of Visayas
01:27
will continue to experience a gloomy afternoon
01:30
with scattered rains, thunderstorms, and thunderstorms.
01:34
Meanwhile, here in Metro Manila, as well as in other parts of Luzon,
01:38
we will continue to experience a clear weather,
01:42
especially in the morning until the afternoon.
01:44
But when the afternoon and night comes,
01:46
we will expect isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
01:51
Meanwhile, our temperature tomorrow here in Metro Manila
01:54
is between 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.
01:57
In Baguio City, it is 18 to 23 degrees.
01:59
In Lawag, it is 25 to 32 degrees.
02:01
In Togigaraw, it is still warm, reaching 34 degrees,
02:05
the highest temperature.
02:06
In Legazpi City, it is 25 to 32 degrees.
02:09
And in Tagaytay, it is 23 to 31 degrees Celsius.
02:14
In Palawan, because it will rain tomorrow,
02:17
it will still reach 31 degrees, their maximum temperature.
02:21
For our fellowmen in Visayas and Mindanao,
02:25
we expect a clear weather tomorrow.
02:28
It will be warm in the afternoon, and when the afternoon and night comes,
02:32
the chances of isolated rain showers are high
02:36
due to localized thunderstorms.
02:38
So let's monitor our social media accounts,
02:40
especially when we go outside our homes,
02:43
so that we can know if there are chances of rain showers
02:47
in the places we will go.
02:49
We can visit our social media accounts
02:51
and our website for thunderstorm advisories.
02:55
Our temperature tomorrow in Metacloban is 26 to 31 degrees Celsius.
03:00
Metro Cebu and Iloilo are 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.
03:04
In Maguindiaura, it is 24 to 32 degrees.
03:08
In Metro Davao and Mezon-Buanga,
03:10
the maximum temperature will reach 33 degrees Celsius.
03:14
It is good news for our fellowmen who will go fishing
03:17
because we do not have a gale warning
03:19
in any town or river
03:21
and the waves will be moderate to moderate.
03:26
For our three-day weather outlook here in Metro Manila,
03:30
until Monday, we still expect a clear weather.
03:33
There will be rain showers, but it will be temporary.
03:36
However, if we can see,
03:38
when Wednesday arrives,
03:39
we can already see the effect of the thunderstorm.
03:44
So let's prepare for the rain showers starting on Tuesday.
03:48
And our temperature here in Metro Manila,
03:51
Monday, Tuesday, will still reach 32 to 33 degrees Celsius.
03:55
But when the thunderstorm arrives,
03:57
or by Tuesday,
03:58
we can see that the temperature will only be 26 to 31 degrees.
04:04
We can also see here in Legazpi City,
04:07
starting on Sunday,
04:08
it is possible for them to experience a cloudy sky
04:11
and there will be scattered rain showers
04:14
because of the LPA.
04:16
We are saying LPA that it is possible for there to be a thunderstorm
04:18
and it is also possible for there to be rain showers starting on Sunday
04:22
in a part of the Southern Luzon area
04:25
including Legazpi City.
04:27
Meanwhile, in Baguio City,
04:29
there is no effect.
04:30
The LPA has no effect there.
04:32
So they will continue their experience
04:35
that it is possible for there to be rain showers
04:37
but only in the afternoon and at night
04:39
because of the localized thunderstorm.
04:43
And let's move to our key cities in Visayas,
04:46
particularly here in Metro Cebu,
04:48
Iloilo City, and Tacloban City.
04:51
If we can see,
04:52
by Sunday until Tuesday,
04:53
almost all of Visayas
04:55
will experience a cloudy sky
04:58
with scattered rain showers,
04:59
thunderstorms,
05:01
and it will have a long-term effect
05:03
as well as the LPA.
05:06
That is why we are preparing
05:07
and we are warning our countrymen
05:09
for the possibility of rain showers
05:11
and landslides.
05:13
And our temperature in Metro Cebu
05:16
for the next three days
05:17
is between 26 to 31 degrees
05:19
in Iloilo,
05:21
25 to 31 degrees Celsius,
05:23
and in Tacloban City,
05:25
26 to 30 degrees Celsius.
05:29
Let's move to our key cities in Mindanao,
05:32
particularly in Metro Davao,
05:34
Cagayan de Oro, and Zamboanga City.
05:36
If we can see,
05:37
in Cagayan de Oro and Zamboanga City,
05:40
until Monday,
05:41
the sky will be cloudy.
05:44
On Sunday and Monday,
05:45
the sky will be cloudy
05:46
and it will have light to moderate
05:49
to the times heavy rain showers
05:51
with a long-term effect.
05:53
Meanwhile, in Metro Davao,
05:55
it is generally a fair weather condition
05:57
for the next three days
05:58
except for thunderstorms
05:59
in the afternoon and evening.
06:01
There is heat in Metro Davao
06:03
where the maximum temperature
06:04
is still up to 34 degrees.
06:06
But in Cagayan de Oro,
06:07
due to the long-term effect,
06:09
the temperature is expected
06:11
to be between 24 to 31 degrees
06:13
on Monday,
06:14
but it will be up to 32 degrees
06:16
on Tuesday.
06:17
In Zamboanga City,
06:19
the temperature is expected
06:21
to be between 24 to 33 degrees Celsius.
06:25
Our day here in Manila
06:28
will end at 6 o'clock in the evening
06:30
and it will rise again
06:32
tomorrow at 5.44 in the morning.
